Well, the easiest way to disprove this without giving a lecture on biology would be to prove the impossibility of the opposite.

In general sense people believe that gender is decided by the X and Y chromosomes. XX for woman, XY for male. Makes a very simple explanation when talking or learning about it. This is wrong in the sense that it is a very complicated topic that has been oversimplified to the point where it is incorrect.

First of all, there are more combinations than XX and XY. In fact, genetics can mess up quite badly in this area and combine these two in all sorts of ways such as X, Y, XXX, XXY, YY etc.. While there are definitely symptoms to this you are still pretty much a normal human since biology can be quite robust but the point remains, this is a very messy process and it defies easy categorization by a simple binary "Male" or "Woman"

We could also go into mixed gender characteristics such as males being born with fully functioning ovaries etc.. Again, biology is very messy and makes mistakes or weird stuff all the time.
