It is. My first apartment was a studio I paid $245 a month. Those were the days.

Ehh depends. There’s always been initial costs when closing on a loan. I’ve been reading thats easier now as a lot of that can be wrapped into the loan instead.

But regardless, if you do your homework, a house is still a good buy that will gain value rather than paying rent. A lot of times, a mortgage and rent can cost the same.

Yup. Easily. Around where I live, the price of a property was 100,000 a few years ago and now is on the market for 300,000.

Just look at Zillow. Everything is skyrocketing.
