What are the current race definitions?

I’m curious. Just read about a Latino KKK member. At least his parents claim they’re Latino.
But since eugenics sprang up, “race” has been at the forefront. Be it cops identifying suspects, politicians identifying voters, etc.

Before then race wasn’t that important. I mean blacks were called “boys” or “n*goers” whatever bullshit. But we seem to compartmentalize more today.

So what are the races and how do you define them? Like what’s Greek? Italian? People in Spain aren’t latino…

It’s complicated, For hundreds of years what was considered white was strictly Anglo-Saxon. But wait the British Isles are huge you have Welsh and Scott’s and Irish (which recently gained its independence in a historical context.). Yea the Scott’s Irish and welsh were not considered white. So obviously greater European were not considered white, they were the were French or Franks which was different when White basically a lesser white. The same goes German, Italian Slavs Spainish Greek. They were not white under the original definition. Every beyond that the Caucasus Mountainsin south west Russia where considered caucasian Russian Georgia Azerbaijan area anywhere east and north of Mongolia was considered Caucasian. Now it’s designed to encompass all of Europe and Russia and there’s a debate on whether or not Turks in west Turkey are white on not because 5% of turkey is in Europe. So under the original definition only the British descended from anglo-Saxons are white everyone else is not white. So since I’m of a Nordic descent I’m not white or Caucasian I’m Nordic. Probably mixed with a Slav.

a white person is anyone white pink or pinkish skin like some jews or europeans

arabs or indians have a brown skin tone, like middle easterners

orientals are Asians and any skin tone can be Asian (i don't get the reason people call them yellow)

native americans or any caucasian with indian (native indian non india related) is brown to white. you know the difference. Spanish and hispanic ancestry is based on how far removed they are from each race

blacks are African no matter how light or dark. how far removed is obvious and you can judge them on that if you want

aboriginis are a different kind of black, but could be a mix of a native indian culture and black African

I think the whole anti Hispanic/latino thing comes from the Alamo and later spainish American war.

Orginially America was mostly WASPS (White Anglo Saxon Protestants) and they did not like Catholic immigrants from Europe so Polish, Irish, spainish, Italians scillians, Greeks, Bulgarians and other East Europeans as well as the Jews. But you can be Caucasian and Hispanic/Latino. There's a reason all those nazis ran to South America after ww2 to hide.

In broad terms, how I define the terms:

White = pinkish skin or whatever you want to call the skin color of white people. Usually with European ancestry.

Asian is if you have ancestry from Asia.

Black people are people with ancestry from Africa.

Latino / Latina are from Latin America? I don't know know where they actually come from 🤷‍♂️

Arabs are people with ancestry from the middle east.

Indians / red skinned people (?) are people with ancestry from native Americans.

And for the two other you mentioned:

Greek is someone with ancestery from Greece. Italian is someone with ancestery from Italia.

Don't understand the question. The KKK doesn't really exist anymore. Sure there's a few clubhouses but they've no numbers. Back in the day they had huge numbers everyone from your doctor to your local democrat politician was a member.
