Do you identify more with your race, nationality, or ethnicity?

I am American and I identify more with race more then nationality or ethnicity.
The reason is because as I see it America is too culturally diverse and lacks any real core identity or social cohesion, my ethnicity is a mix of European ethnicities so I can’t really identify with a single ethnicity.
Now I identify with white peoples over the world more then non whites in America.

The French culture was to assimilate the foreigners, the "race" especially the culture can be important and create many problems. France assimilated the foreigners to their cultures and the not assimilated foreigners (which represent a majority) because it is difficult to assimilate was sent back in their country. So France had found a balanced system. Unfortunately, we have long ago abandoned this, we have adopted the multiculturalist vision of the Anglo Saxons

I agree ideas are a building block of the nation but I think ethnicity is extremely Important as well.

The French ethnicity needs to be preserved in my opinion.

I know you aren’t a fan but I do follow Thaïs D’Escufon and other European identities who would want to preserve the ethnicity of their respective nations and I identify with their cause and agree.

France assimilated people of other ethnicities but until very recently all those peoples were racially white Europeans so there wasn’t a significant difference.

I remember you mentioned you were part Spanish and not fully French but as I understand both are Mediterranean and Romance language nations. Therefore France (in my opinion as an outsider) is a diverse European nation with an ethnic French core. If the population changes too much it would be bad in my opinion.
As in too many non Europeans, Anglos or Eastern Europeans would change the culture to much.

France between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century about 2 million Italians came to France, France kicked out 1 million because they were not assimilated. It was not a question of race.

Indeed the number is important, that's why immigration must be controlled and France must resume assimilation.

Yes, I have Spanish origins, but I consider myself as a true Frenchwoman, I cried at the misfortunes of France at Waterloo or Sedan, not by listening to the story of the destruction of the Spanish grandeur. No other flag than the tricolor, no other anthem than the Marseillaise will ever wet my eyes.

I don't identify with any of these, as I do not feel belonging to any national identity, ethnicity, nor another group identity. I do have ancestors of several ethnicities, but this is not too important for me. I think that people obsess too much over national differences, instead of focusing on our similarities with each other.

Nationality. I never felt any pride or guilt for being white and of mixed European descent. It really doesn't matter to me. I don't feel pride or guilt for being American, but i identify with it more than being a white mutt.
