What is more important to your personal identity race of nationality?

As a white American I feel I have more in common with white people In Europe then I do with non white people in America.

I would feel more comfortable in rural England then I would in Chicago for example.

As a European, race does not mean much to me, so nationality is more important, even if not the main thing about my identity.

Race as defined by the U. S. Census is ludicrous anyway. Some Europeans are "white", for example Italians, but others are "Hispanic", mainly the Spanish. My girlfiriend is white from Iran and I'm white from Germany, but we are quite different types. If at all I would need to define "races" I would not necessarily have put us in the same box. Best not to attempt such classification at all.

i'm brown and British, both are important parts of me but i feel like my race is just something i am but nationality is something propagandized on a wider scale with politics and competition etc - can't really explain it but GB is where i was born and raised but my culture is also important to me
