It's sad we got to the point, where if someone has different political views then you, instead of trying to understand and why they have the views they have, we resort to cheap attacks and name calling. Both Republicans and Democrats are guilty of attacking others with different political views. If you want to persuade someone to agree with your views, you don't straight up attack them as an evil person, you try and understand their views and why they have them, then try to convince them why your view is better. If they still don't agree with your views after valid arguments, then the best you can do is respect their views and move on, attacking them will not help you in convincing other's your view (s) is/are better or the very least respect your view (s).

Attacking a political party for a policy that they have explicitly said they want to do (e. g. cutting social security) is not the same as saying the other side is going to make your children gay.

In it's 200 odd year history, the USA has spent around half of it dividing and fucking over other countries.

It was only a matter of time before it drew some karma for itself.
