I don't think the Donald cares. Either he loses, and Biden (Obama) completes the job and destroys us (with Whitmer's help in selling Big Rapids to China down river), and he walks away, or he gets elected, does nothing, talks a big talk, Americans feel good about him overcoming Bragg, forgive his pimping for Pfizer, and Obama destroys us behind the scenes anyway.
Americans are too dense to vote Constitution Party, and throw a curve ball that both major parties and their Zionist overlords don't expect. This will lead to massive panic, followed by civil war. It will get ugly. Esau's brats will completely lose it. All their Marxist and Democrat and RINO pets will act like rabid tigers having escaped the zoo, and will attack like mad chimpanzees anyone in their way.
A free America would rise from the ashes, but there'd be a LOT of ashes.
God gave us the tools of veritable paradise. But from the not-so-enlightened "Enlightenment"-onward, we chose rebellion. And now, Hell on Earth is our inheritance.3
Anyone who commits a crime deserves to be arrested. Too often, the rich and powerful are able to game the system and avoid consequences. There’s always been a two tiered system of justice. So I have no sympathy for Donald Trump. People of his ilk are not held to account often enough. If there is probable cause you committed a crime, then you should be arrested and face trial no matter who you are. I don’t get these people who seem to want him to be above the law and want him to get free passes. Why? That just reinforces that two tiered system. I’m glad when I see a politician held accountable. It doesn’t happen often enough.32
I don't know. Haven't seen the evidence. But if he commited a crime, that deserves to be arrested, than yes he should.
But at this point everyone can say what they want, but it means nothing until the trial, if it happens, and all the evidence comes out.
Then we will know what he has done0
What Girls & Guys Said
For which crime? He has done so many. He feels the right and the left are both out to get him. He is right. Few have done so much to bring down democracy. He appeared on television on Jan 6 inviting everyone to join him in attacking the Capitol and the representatives inside. The ONLY reason he did not show up there is because his driver refused to take him there and returned him to the White House. He continued his attack on the US by encouraging the attackers to do whatever it takes to break into the building and to find and hang Pence!
He walked off with more classified documents than any other official in history. Then he lied about returning them and his lawyer is now in trouble for supporting that. It took the government searching his club/residence (all legally) to find so much more, and that may still not be all of it.
Exitseven said that the fake news was so excited over the events that they put it all over the news. He is wrong. It was not Fox that put it all over the news.
As for Desantis' involvement, he was actually supporting Russia on its invasion of Ukraine. That backfired and both Republicans and Democrats jumped him on that. So he backpedaled and changed his story to supporting Ukraine. So much evil and backstabbing on the right!10
Everyone should be equal before the law, and that justice should be sought regardless of one's status or background. If there is evidence that a former president committed an alleged elections law infraction, then they should be held accountable for their actions just like any other citizen.
In fact, it is particularly important for those in positions of power to be held accountable for their actions. The integrity of our democratic institutions depends on the rule of law and the accountability of our leaders. If a former president is allowed to evade justice for an alleged crime, it would undermine the public's trust in our justice system and set a dangerous precedent for others in positions of power.
Upholding the rule of law is essential for ensuring that our society functions fairly and equitably. No one should be above the law, and the consequences of breaking it should be applied equally to everyone, regardless of their status or background. By holding a former president accountable for an alleged crime, we send a message that no one is above the law and that justice will be served for all.0
Well it looks like the democrats have once again tried to have President Trump arrested. He found out about it and went on the offensive. The fake news was so excited over the idea of President Trump being led out in handcuffs they just couldn't help themselves so they put it all over the news. Trump got thousands of dollars worth of coverage while the public got to see another fake case against the former president and front runner in the 2024 election. It looks like Trump played them all like a violin.30
Being completely real with you - and this is coming from a Democrat - I honestly don't care if he does or doesn't at this point. When he was in office I hated Trump through the roof, but now I'm really just indifferent about him. And I know there is a strong possibility that he'll get re-elected. It is what it is.
I feel like Democrats are wasting a hell of a lot of time trying to convict this guy for Jan.6 - which he probably had some dirty involvement in it - but I guess I don't really take Trump too seriously to care anymore. Right now we have bigger things to be concerned about and Biden is not doing so great. And because of him it opens a power vacuum for some of the worst in the Republican party to run for prez and win.128
For what? The alleged crime the federal government couldn't get any evidence for back in 2018 when it was relevant that now a narcissistic, deranged DA thinks he can revisit without anything that can actually hold up in court? In that context, no. Not only is it a waste of time, but that kind of pointless, obviously political persecution is EXACTLY what Trump would want. If this is supposed to be the standard for arresting current and former politicians in the country, then I expect to see a minimum of 75% of our current elected officials and appointees marched out in a chain gang for mishandling of campaign funds, corruption, obstruction of justice, money laundering, theft, destruction and/or improper handling of classified documents, purgery, destruction of property, treason, and sedition to name a few.
I'm actually all for making holding office a living hell, but not when we all know damn well that certain establishment circles would be exempt from such treatment.10
First off, let me say that I think all politician should be arrested and executed. But that’s not what you’re asking.
Should Donald Trump be arrested? It depends on what the rest for the stormy Daniels bullshit. No who cares if he slapped on the porn star he also slept with Karen McDougal in the same year. No one cares if you want to have a good moral standard about this then you should never have like Bill Clinton stay in office if you want a moral standard, where are the President of the United States does not get to pay off women he slept with then you have to outright condemn. Bill Clinton say that standard should never have been set and treat him the same way you would Nixon. No obviously if Trump murdered somebody yeah he should be arrested but not over the stupid campaign finance stormy Daniels bullshit.10
Of course not, a corporate tycoon and a spoiled rich guy who never heard no in his life probably made a bet with his mile high golf course buddies i can get the president job if I want to, then he does and says now what! The ones who thought he gives a rats ass about their blue collared asses and made it happen they are the ones who should be arrested. There is a reason nations elect someone who lived and experienced what they experienced common grounds he feels their struggles or at least have an idea about it did they honestly expected him to know how it feels driving home after loosing your job, or getting your car or house foreclosed? He cannot possibly do it i think he sincerely tried at some point but it’s not possible you gave the man more than he can humanly handle. His language and logic, priorities, needs and fears are not something we could understand neither.1
Rule of law is very important to conservatives and Republicans, and I agree with the rule of law too. It doesn't matter what we think regarding his arrest.
It matters what the law has to say about it. If he has evidence to be arrested then yes I agree. Based on what the news reports is not enough for me or anyone to really know for sure because half the stations say it's a witch hunt and the other day he's a criminal. Based on what lawyers are saying, it would point that he can be arrested and I think he will but who cares what I think. That in of itself isn't enough to say anyone here knows for sure.
There's always going to be evidence that the news isn't privy too until it's announced to the public. Basically if they arrest him it's because they can and because I believe in the rule of law. If they don't then it's because they don't have enough to get him.1
I don't really care what Trump did or didn't do. I don't care what crimes Biden committed either.
As long as people in office fight for our freedom and follow the constitution, I couldn't care less what kind of person they are.
So far, all I see from Biden and the Democrats is the slow but sure destruction of constitutional values, and more infringements on freedom.
Trump could be the scum of the earth, but if he fights for sovereignty and freedom, he's got my vote every time1
Remember this picture that Trump used recently to attempt to intimidate New York D. A. Alvin Bragg. Only in America can someone do this and get away with it. Of course, he should be arrested.31
Why? He's a silly bastard and an old fart 🤣0
For fuck sake. Joey is the biggest crook in politics and people are still worried about Trump. Good deflection though by Joey. Get them looking everyplace but at the current President.10
Yes but so does basically every member of the ruling class. Fraud and lies and shifting money where they don't belong, they all do it.0
Without being judgmental, does there come a time when it's better to just put the past behind us and move forward?0
Yes but not for bs like the Stormy Daniels money. For a whole lot of stuff like inciting an insurrection and coercing election officials he needs to be held accountable.0
Not for what they are purportedly going to arrest him for. If it was for the January 6th insurrection, yes. But for hush money to a porno actress? No, come on.0
The US cracks me up. They are the most crooked nation yet all of a sudden they have morals and want to arrest someone. No he shouldn't be arrested. He's just partaking in the loop holes the US created0
Do Joe and Hunter Biden deserve to be arrested?0
One is a misdemeanor where the statue of limitations is gone and the other is in a category where it makes no sense. Witch Hunt #2.10
Yes - he needs to be arrested and have his passport confiscated because if these things don't happen he may leave the country.
Another country might regard his presence as an act of war similar to dumping our garbage on them or worse.0
This is actually all part of a long game by the left to ultimately get Trump nominated in the primaries because he is the only candidate Biden has any real chance at beating. Let me explain:
For all you moderate conservatives out there you need to realize what’s going on. The left needs Trump to justify their radical insanity. Even if Trump gets re-elected in 2024 he can only serve 4 years. The left will use him as justification to act completely deranged again.
Conservatives need to get behind DeSantis. He’s young, tough, smart and he gets shit done. He thinks before he speaks. The left is so desperate to disparage them that they are putting out the most ridiculous articles in world about how he one time ate pudding with his fingers (how pathetic can the mass media get).
Be smart and realize the long game the left is playing. They need trump much more than we do. Do not fall for it.
@majorzorf you know how cliche that opinion is now?
Also Florida is not “poor af” right now. They are seeing a population boom while blue states like New York and California are seeing a population decline. De Santis used common sense during the pandemic and didn’t do a bunch of authoritarian lockdown insanity which destroyed local businesses, accelerated urban decay and caused crime rates to skyrocket.
But as for Trump. I do NOT give a shit about Trump. I am not a “Maga supporter” nor ever have been. But if you force my hand I will vote for him in a general election. Reason why is although I find his personality insufferable he did perform well where it really matters: economic policy.
This senile doddering walking corpse of a president has enacted legislation that IS responsible for all the hyperinflation and the recession we are seeing. Things are only going to go from bad to worse under this 80 year old brain dead fool. And Bill Clinton once famously quoted “It’s about the economy stupid”. But the fact liberals are in denial about that is absolutely insane. But again you can never underestimate TDS.
@majorzorf hey man best of luck.
@majorzorf if you really believe that one of us has a bigger problem and it’s not me. Sadly I’m not surprised at that kind of response. It’s so predictable.
However I can’t tell you how wonderful hyperinflation and a faltering economy is for everyone. Isn’t funny that hyperinflation harms the poor and working class the most and yet that’s who the democrats supposedly care about? I mean let’s just forget that prior to the pandemic the unemployment rate and economy was the strongest it has ever been in decades.
And no my church pastor never told me or anybody to “vote for Trump”. But go ahead and fixated articles from the Guardian or some other crap to self justify your own ignorance. Stay in your own bubble. I never watch Fox News by the way and I live in a deep blue state. Democratic policies has turned our major cities into shitholes.
So before either of us go ballistic since we're on opposite sides of the "who's the most fucked up of the party's debate", I will say that I agree for the most part with this long game idea. Obviously, I think the people with TDS are Trump supporters, not his detractors. I think it's clear that Trump is an incompetent, lunatic narcissist, who by the way actually thought that Frederick Douglas was alive. He will turn on anyone who doesn't kiss the ring. Let's face it - with his "pant's on fire" alone lies, we're talking about upwards of 5, 000. This doesn't include "mostly false" or "partly false". If you include those, the number for the past 7 years is well over 20,000. Anyway, moving on -
" The left needs Trump to justify their radical insanity. " Hmmm. And how do we justify:
* Marjorie Taylor Greene's insanity?
* Lauren Boebert's lunacy?
* Louie Goehmert's insanity?
* Jim Jordan's stupidity?
* Paul Gosar's insanity - who is so unfit for office that six of his siblings endorsed his opponent in 2018.
" DeSantis. He’s young, tough, smart and he gets shit done." He's also a fucking Fascist, though I doubt you see it that way.
Also, Bragg is likely to argue that the clock stopped on any statute of limitations law when Trump officially moved his residence to Florida in 2019. We'll see how it plays out. There's plenty of other things in the works to keep him busy.
@loveslongnails you know I have a response to everything you said above. I bet you are probably waiting for me to respond about AOC and the squad.
Also there is a reason why people are leaving blue states for red. There is a reason why Florida’s local economy outperformed most of the country. There is a reason why DeSantis crushed his gubernatorial reelection. He even won Miami Dade county which is traditionally a deep blue state.
Also “the man” isn’t conservative. Decades ago it was but not now. Big tech, public education, entertainment and now most ridiculous of all major corporations have gone woke. The left controls most institutions of power. Not conservatives.
But again all of this is an exercise in futility. But people like majorzsrf above want them to take the bait and go all pro “maga” and other bs. Not going to fall for it.
@majorzorf you know how cliché that opinion is now? REALLY? Hmmm... so the FACTS are now cliché, according to you? Try doing a little research.
How many ALL blue states do you see on this list, and by that I mean states who voted for Biden in 2020 and have both state houses controlled by Democrats? How many? ONE - that would be Maine. The rest are either all red, or purple.
Below is a ranking of the top 15 most Federal Aid dependent states.
Rank State Total Score
1 Alaska 83.18
2 West Virginia 76.02
3 Mississippi 71.31
4 Kentucky 70.95
5 New Mexico 69.73
6 Wyoming 64.23
7 South Carolina 59.86
8 Arizona 58.86
9 Montana 57.77
10 Louisiana 57.46
11 North Dakota 55.91
12 Indiana 55.34
13 Maine 54.25
14 Alabama 53.48
15 South Dakota 52.2
AOC is a far, far better individual than DeSantis will ever be, and yes, he's very conservative - ultra conservative. He just hides it well. That's why he approves of banning books that have no business being banned. And the loonies on your side are far more dangerous the idea of Democracy than anyone on the left. Plus, this statement here ~~~>
"The left controls most institutions of power. Not conservatives" ... is absolute bullshit. For a guy who doesn't watch Fox, or Newsmax (?) , you sure do repeat the lies. According to Forbes, of the 50 wealthiest families in the USA, 56% are straight Republicans (yes, that's the same as conservatives for 95% of them) and only 14% are straight Democrats. The remaining 30% contribute to both parties. Talk about control, huh? Not only that, Conservative radio dominates the airwave market completely!!
The facts speak for themselves about the poorer states. And while people are leaving blue states (yes, you got that right and I agree with you because it's a documented fact - see how that's done?) for red (experts don't know exactly why but theorize it's a weather related thing due to age, and also housing and cost of living), they STILL want blue-state policies. That info comes from a news source with your bias, The Washington Examiner:
To summarize, in my opinion, DeSantis is FAR more dangerous than Trump because he's smarter, and he is indeed, a fascist. I will do everything in my power to keep him from being elected, should he get the nomination. Have a nice day.
@majorzorf They have poop patrols in San Francisco to clean up the human feces from the streets. LA is over-run with homelessness. Businesses are leaving Oregon and Washington State. These are not Liberal success stories.
@loveslongnails your response has left me grinning because it’s confirming my theory. Especially about DeSantis. Yep I can read between the lines. The left is terrified of DeSantis. Unlike Trump he thinks before he speaks. He doesn’t step on rakes with a bunch of stupid ass tweets. He doesn’t back down when he makes a decision. He absolutely crushed the 2022 gubernatorial election in what was once a swing state (and he barely won in 2018). He’s also going to look very fresh faced when you put him side by side by an octogenarian Biden who probably can’t remember what he had for breakfast this morning. On top of that the economic forecast looks grim (and I do NOT want the economy to downturn. Even if it helps Biden). People are going to rightfully blame the Biden administration for their asinine legislation and spending. A smart republican like DeSantis will pound away on that.
However although I am smiling I’m not laughing. I’m a realist. If my theory is correct we will see Trump vs Biden part 2. I predict there are millions TDS morons like @majorzorf (he couldn’t come up with one rational response to anything I said. He just keeps repeating “your pastor your pastor”). There are lots of morons like him. I remember asking liberals back in 2020 if they could just give me ONE other reason why they were voting for Biden besides Trump. I got zero other reasons. Nobody was “excited” about senile ole Biden. He has the charisma of a turnip (and the cognitive ability of one too).
So again the left NEEDS Trump back in the spotlight. But I 100% doubt he will be convicted of anything. If he was then that might finally disqualify him for running for office. However the left doesn’t want that. It would clear the way for DeSantis.
You might also respond with polls about Biden beating DeSantis in a hypothetical match up. That’s because DeSantis isn't a branded household name yet. But when you stand him up against a 82 year old Biden…. just saying.
I also got a long response to every bullet point you listed. But let’s be real. Am I going to change your mind about anything or vice versa? Doubt it. But again I know what the liberal elitist are doing in regards to Trump and keeping Biden in office when he belongs in a nursing home.
Also @majorzorf I am going to ask to kindly stfu. You have been nothing but a troll who has been proving me right. You are commenting on MY opinion too. So unless you can respond with a semblance of someone who has an IQ above 60 just gtfo my opinion thread. Really.
I think TDS is a funny thing. He is Deranged himself which makes it funnier. I do agree with you that Trump is bad for the GOP. They need to drop him like a bad habit.
@Friendlybro79 Trump’s existence is only helping the democrats at this point. He has cost the GOP the 2018, 2020 and 2022 elections. It’s no surprise that the leftist elitists are trying their hardest to get Jin back in the limelight.
About TDS. I just have to ask the left one thing? How often did you hear conservatives using the phrase “Obama supporters” or “Biden supporters”? You hate Trump? Fine. But the way they act deranged towards anybody (I do mean anybody) who voted for Trump for ANY reason demonstrates the derangement. Really how often do you see mainstream conservatives going around yelling and screaming at anybody who voted for Biden?
@loveslongnails The blue state / red state idea ignores who actually gets the aid within those states. Even the reddest state is at least 35% D.
*demonstrates who is truly deranged
@majorzorf I don’t know what pastor you are referring to. Your insults are confusing, weak, and retarded. I’d expect better but as you pointed out, you’re just a piece of shit foreigner from some shithole country. For all I know you’re some goddamn Guatemalan or some shit covered Haitian.
I would imagine part of the difference is that Trump never left the spotlight. He's been campaigning since 2020 for 2024. We've heard from Obama how many times? Not nearly as much. Trump also says outlandish things that gets a reaction out of people. As much as you are harping on TDS why do you care? They're allowed to talk about him and you focusing on TDS this much could conclude you're deranged about TDS. Just let it go.
"People are going to rightfully blame the Biden administration for their asinine legislation and spending." You're not very good at reading data, are you? When Trump took office in 2016, the National Debt was $19 trillion. When he left in 2020, it was $27.3 trillion. The GAO warned him that his tax cuts would continue to increase the debt over the next 8 years, but he did it anyway. It's now $31 trillion. All Biden's doing, right?
I'll tell you why I voted for Biden, old wobbly dude and all - because he was far less of a turd than Trump. Donald is among the worst humanity has to offer - he's vile, and no, I'm not the one with TDS. I grew up in NYC. My family dealt with his. Anyone who ever has knows what a piece of shit he is, and his years of criminal behavior in the WH, and the pardoning of his criminal friends, proved the point.
Back to Ronnie boy. Yes, YOU should be terrified of assholes like him, but instead you glorify him like a little trolling forecaddie. You can mock Biden all you want, and I don't disagree that he has little charisma, but that's not really important. I'm not a huge fan of him either, but I know a fascist when I see one, and that's Ron.
The part that you're blatantly missing is that EVERYONE or anyone who values freedom, Democracy and the right to a truthful education in this country, should be terrified of DeSantis. Your referrals to his election victory margin means nothing because the idiot Dems in Florida put up a guy to run against him who himself is a criminal! Andrew Gillum is facing a 21-count indictment alleging wire fraud, conspiracy, and making false statements. So big deal, DeSantis won a no brainer.
" Unlike Trump he thinks before he speaks." - Really now? Then I guess you like what he has to say, but I recognize it as bullshit. His goal is to marginalize everything and everyone he doesn't agree with, in the name of "saving the children". He does what everyone in his party does when dealing with the slightest criticism - he plays the "woke" card. All of you who do that don't even know what it means. You hurl it about like it's an insult, when you should champion it. Talk about being TERRIFIED of something - he's terrified of the truth and historical facts, like most of his ilk.
He screams bloody murder about the LEFT cancel culture, when he is doing THAT EXACT THING, both with people and information.
@loveslongnails i guessing you are pissed off by the so called “don’t say gay bill”. NO where did that bill say “don’t say gay” by the way.
That bill was about stopping the LGBTQ “education” of prepubescent K-3 children. Public educators can’t even wait until kids hit puberty to teach that “education”. Also don’t get me started about the whole “trans education” if prepubescent schoolchildren.
"Don't say gay" is a bad moniker, much like "Defund the police" is. I don't support discussing age inappropriate topics with 5 to 8 year olds either, but there's been little evidence that a law was, or is, required to enforce that.
I know what the bill is about, and I know its intent and purpose, and it's not "merely" about it's advertised intent. When's the last time you read a book aimed at second graders? I've a degree in El Ed, so I don't even want to engage you on the subject, other to say it was obviously a preamble to book banning and the false narrative surrounding CRT and even the use of "woke" as a strawman. DeSantis is a fascist at heart, and all of his actions are insidious and treacherous moves to eliminate choice and freedoms. I also don't wish to debate your views on him as a candidate or politician. It will not change my mind any more than a trumper could about trump. Fair enough?
