So my fiance was talking about buying a house, we're getting married soon. So I suggested I could pay the house in full with cash. I make more and people made me feel bad because they feel we should pay on the house together. I told them (some family) I didn't mind since my fiance doesn't have a lot of money saved up to pay for the house. Is this a bad thing for a woman to buy a house by herself?
It depends. I think if he’s ok with the house being primarily yours (legally), meaning if you separate or sell the house, you’re the one walking away with profits. If he wants legal ownership too then I’d recommend getting him involved in the investments. Even if he doesn’t have a lot of money, he can do manual labor for maintenance and upkeep.
