The parents didn't even make sure the shooter did get rid of her guns. She was in therapy as well at times.

From what I just heard moments ago, she didn't NEED a map of the school, she used to be a student there.
I don't see how the parents knowing she had guns has anything to do with and, I'd almost bet they knew because she showed them to them OR, they saw them lying around somewhere.
As for the therapy, you HAVE to go through it for at least 2 years before you can get your letter from the shrink that tells the doctors that you SHOULD be allowed to get SRS. But, even that doesn't always work out well. My ex-fiance's ex-hubby, Jim, went through all of that and got the sex change and then decided he didn't want it! I've here there are quite a few that got SRS that, later, regretted getting it. I would almost bet this woman was another such case. However, when Jim reverted, he didn't continue wearing women's clothes, as I've seen most of those regretting it do.

I was surprised to see it was a woman but then found out that they were a transgender and was once a male, they were suffering from so many mental health problems and probably bullied in school, they always find a way to guns though and they were legally purchased

I wouldn't blame the parents. I blame the radicalized "trans" movement.

She was a "trans"male who had attended the school. Trans activists are upset over Tennessee's new law banning "gender-affirming care" for minors.

It has not been reported whether she was taking prescription medication, or testosterone or other hormone treatments.

No matter how hardly the parents might’ve tried to fix her, she wanted to do it and nothing wouldve stopped her at any cost. Why “partly” blame the parents? She is a 28 year old grown woman. Its all on her. If you wanna partly blame something else, blame the gun law in this country.

I'm NOT trying to be a snooty dick when I ask this, I just really want your solution to this so-called, gun law problem. I'm not big into guns, either. As far as I'm concerned, they should melt them down but, I understand WHY we have the right to have them. (And don't understand why that right hasn't yet been evoked when it SHOULD'VE been done at LEAST a year ago! I can only assume that most people don't know why we have that right.)

Most therapists have questions about firearms as part of their intake paperwork. Either she wasn't actually in therapy, had a shitty therapist, or lied on her intake forms.

@Fuentes Someone maybe chronologically 28 years old but emotionally much younger. Age does not matter when it comes to mental or emotional disabilities. You probably don't have any idea how hard it is to be a parent of a child once they turn 18. The doctors don't let the parents in on their child's health records anymore because of the HIPPA laws which medical staff must protect and keep private the child once they turn 18. The parents can no longer have any say on what care they want for their child once they turn 18. Then it's a whole new world - mentally ill or not.

If someone who does a crime as adult they will go to adult prison, idc about their mental age their an adult if their a 5150 they can go to a mental hospital or a prison for the mentally insane. A crime is a crime and as a an adult you should be punished as every adult should.
