For example “Racism will never end.”
I think this is factually true and also not a pleasant thing to hear.
“Racism will never end”
I would believe this is a fact.

You can say what you want (as long as you can back up your statement with evidence or explain your reasoning properly), but the context is what matters.
If you are openly discussing a controversial topic and each of you is expressing your views, say what you need. They may not react as positively to a blanket statement as they would to a more carefully structure statement, but the situation is meant for that sort of discussion and lack of agreement. Or if you’re talking with someone you know you both know each other well enough to understand the nuance of your statement, go ahead.
But if someone’s child has just died, and you go up to them bluntly talking about how “death is better than being alive,” that’s just you being rude and lacking empathy or sympathy. Honestly is almost always preferable, but there’s a time for bluntness and a time to put aside differences and show some concern for another person’s thoughts and emotions.
“Racism will never end” is not a statement of fact. It’s an opinion.
I believe it can be overcomes, but will it?
Probably not, I can agree with you there. No, I would not call it an established fact.
No I don’t think that’s rude. Even if it hurts someone’s feelings that’s on them to let it bother them or not, especially if it’s a fact. I don’t believe racism will ever end either. Lately it seems as though racism against whites has gotten worse. Hatred will never end either. There’s hatred w in people’s own cultures. I remember growing up, I’m Native American. My cousins used to call me white because I lived in the city, they lived on the reservation. So even w in our own cultures there’s hate.
Saying something like you are ugly or you have bad taste in clothing/music is hurtful but still opinion based comments.
if somethign is rude or not is subjective. there's no objective standard. so idgaf tbh xD the right to free speech should always trump any right nott o be offended. i think there isn't even a right not to be offended.
