I don't know, I'm not American. However it think it's caused by polarization of society and following radicalization together with destruction of social cohesion.
People reject God and then when evil starts taking over they ask why, I know people here see me as a Jesus freak, but I tried warning people smh, it's just gonna get worse.
Love the name by the way. I’m learning to speak Latin. That’s a good Latin saying to remember that we will all leave this world and after that we will all be judged individually by God.
Yea death is a new beginning, people consider my name contradicting against my believes because it's got to do with death but don't realize the meaning behind it that we should all accept death as a part of life, Latin is a fallen language and I wish they taught it in school, it would've stayed in that class lol
It just simply means “remember death” as you know.
I think it’s a stark reminder to live, because this life will end. When we are young, death is far from our minds. I further extend the meaning to Christianity, that it is a reminder that we humans are appointed to die once, and after this comes judgment. It’s a reminder to cling to Christ. To remember we will be judged by him individually and to be all the more careful to live a life of obedience to him.
No one will be saved by works, but some will certainly be condemned by them.
I see no contradiction there. Anyone who doesn’t take heed to what he does or doesn’t do in this life, especially knowing we will be judged after we leave it is foolish.
I wish they taught it in school also. It’s fun but difficult language. A major reason I’m studying it is for the study of theology. Almost all the early church fathers and theologians spoke it and wrote it it. The Bible was originally written in Hebrew and Greek. I plan to study Greek next and Latin and Greek are closely related. I just went with Latin first because it has more use outside of Theology, where as Ancient Greek has almost no use outside theology.
Yea not only that I think Latin was use worldwide at some point and it sucks that people let it die out because the language itself sounds cool, imagine the world if Latin was still used, books, signs, and anywhere that has translations would have Latin, I'm sure now there's people that think Latin are Hispanics 🤣
Latin was the primary language spoken in most of central and western Europe and commonly spoken in any place that boarders the Mediterranean Sea until the fall of the western part of the Roman Empire. Since around the year 700 no ones primary language has been Latin. However is was the Lingua Franca - the common tongue spoken throughout Europe in every county by the nobility and clergy until around 1700 when it’s use began to decline.
Surprisingly it’s making a comeback. Which I’m happy about. The language sounds beautiful in its pronunciation. It is still the language of theology, both Catholic and Protestant but to a much lesser degree Protestant now, Science and Law.
There are many books written entirely in Latin at current time. I have several. All are fiction. Not to mention many classics written in Latin. Currently I’m reading a beginners Latin book called Lingua Latina (Familia Romana). It’s about the daily lives of a typical Roman family.
I’m sure you’re right people are very ignorant. Latin America is named as such because it’s culture is more similar to traditional Latin culture.
I wish it never died out. Also learning Latin makes learning any Romance language 1000x easier. I can understand a lot of what Italian Speakers and a lot of Spanish speakers in those languages, I just can’t reply in those languages. I can only reply in Latin.
You’re right, in a way it’s cool but in a way it’s not. It is cool to have knowledge of a language no one else really speaks, but at the same time it kinda sucks because you can never speak it to anyone out side of special on line communities. Since language is for communication, it sucks because you seldom get to communicate with people in that Language.
What is cool is once you really start to grasp it you will realize there are a lot of crappy translations out there and you will have a better understanding of anything originally written in that language.
It’s very useful in the study of European history because most documents from royal courts and legal documents were written in Latin. It is also still the official language of the Vatican.
Hopelessness rooted in godlessness. There is a reason that there were gun clubs in the schools when my grandparents went and no mass shootings. People could buys guns in lots of different stores, no background check, and no lunatics shooting up schools and other places. The problem is not guns and never has been. The problem is the depravity of certain humans.
This is a problem we didn’t see in America until about 20 years ago.
Godlessness and the resulting moral decay created this.
Even people who didn’t believe in God didn’t do things like this 30, 40, 70 or 100 years ago because the preserving impact of Christianity on society. It set enough of a societal tone that even the ungodly wouldn’t do certain things. Not anymore. Now nothing is sacred in this post Christian society.
It seems like we’re one of the few people connecting these dots.
The economic system in this country is rigged against virtually everyone except a very small percentage of people who are rich sociopaths. The resuilt is like living in a casino where you must play and you almost always lose, and the sociopaths always win.
This is enough to make people chronically enraged, and sometimes it just spills over.
No gun control and the out of control gun culture that is crippling America. They have lost the plot so much that some think the answer to too many guns is to give people more guns. You can't make this stuff up.
Because unchecked mental illness is on the rise. FYI being "trans" or taking anti depressants is not solving this, it's just making more mentally ill people we allow out in society.
I like how you say you support the 2nd Amendment then say "but". Right there you admit you don't support it, and yes you do want to ban all guns then. In Japan it is impossible for an ordinary citizen to even own one. Thats why airsoft is so popular there.
Tell me do you even know what the 2nd Amendment says?
Overall society behaviour to eachother is getting cruel day by day... Every action has it's reaction... Insanity , frustration is raising in our behaviour... Who has a little power pressing other who get under them... Soo... U r watching the result

It's a general pattern of society, people behave in a way mimicking others from the same category. That's why areas, countries, and states harbor so many similarities. Mentally unfit patients with suicidal tendencies follow the same successful tactics as the previous one.
I doubt they've risen, word just travels faster now. It wasn't until maybe 5 or 6 years ago that all this stuff popped up on the front page of every search engine. Before then our phones didn't have enough data to handle that.

You’re exactly right as to the cause and exactly right It will get worse.
I appreciate your words brother, god bless you. 💯🙏
God bless you as well.

There is a theory that mass shootings being reported by Social Media & Main Stream Media is amplifying mass shooter incidents. See article below.

Exactly. We had a rifle club at my HS.

Political ideology stress, stress from covid, stress from job opportunities and finances, shit mental health, shit social wellbeing etc.
Maybe it is related to COVID, and all of the terrible things that happened then?
Maybe
Capitalism is the problem.

I wonder how much the feds got to do with it. Apparently they too had their hooks in Columbine and other shootings, so I'm very suspicious of them.
I think the police did an amazing job in how the handles the last shooting.
But like Columbine's final video/s, they won't release the manifesto from the shooter on this one. Why? What's being hidden here?

Guns don't kill. People do. If all guns were taken away today, you would still have plenty of murders.

Sorry this was ment for @stillalive
Wow! @Still-alive blocked me.
Thus is the problem with people today. No back bone

The Far Right believes that they are many "Good Guys with Guns" and those "Good Guys" will stop the "bad guys with guns".
Government is doing this to trick people to give up their guns
How is the government doing this?
You must believe Democrats and Republicans are truly two separate groups
That doesn’t answer how they are doing this? I’m genuinely interested in what you think

To many people with mental issues & easy access to guns.
They have been on the rise for years now…. Wtf?
Mmhmm
Lack of self control seems to be the only main reason
I blame media. Kinda like when child kidnappings were reported back in the 90s with the advent of national news.
