I have nothing against a black Tarzan movie. Personally however, I loved the comedic take on it and dont think they will be able to recreate that today but I have been wrong today.

What amazes me however is that people are upset about the color of a non-human species AKA fucking mermaids. It is literally a fantasy creature but people catch feelings because it does not represent real life culture groups.

I have no problem with movies casting people of any ethnicity, as long as ethnicity isn't at the core of the story: casting an Asian man as a black slave in the south would be strange

I guess it could be made of someone really wanted to, but remember that Clayton of Greystoke is a British lord. Personaly I prefer it if they don't raceswap characters.
