Maybe not - he is 76 years old now, and prison is a rough place. People in prison, particularly federal prison, generally get poor medical care. Trump is very ill.

We don't know exactly what the charges are just yet passed what i said already. here's what we do know from new york authorities about trump foundation a charity organization by Donald trump. Trump org payed 2 million back to new york in fines back in 2019 and lost all charity recognition privileges for like 5 years.

I don't know what the penalties for the particular crimes are, but I don't think you should get special treatment because you're old.

Defendant Trump should get prison time, maybe in a minimum security prison or possibly house arrest with no visitors (and no internet). Fines won't affect him in the slightest because he knows he has millions of useful idiots who will turn that into a profit centre for him.

He's also defaming and threatening people online and in public, which are crimes.

I don't think his purported wealth is consistent with his actual wealth, but even if it is, I think he would be loathed to part with a penny and very hurt if he had to. Prison would be very bad for him in a lot of ways and would possibly even be a death sentence in effect.

And as I understand it secret service is for life so even in prison he would still have protection. I doubt it would be an officer sitting in a cell with him 24/7 but there would still be something. I doubt this will ever go to trial especially if there is a change of venue which in this case is a reasonable request. It is only being done to prevent him from running for president. Even if there is a trial and somehow he is found guilty it is only punishable with a fine.
