Why are you “anti-woke”?

there’s so much anger over “woke”ness and I’m just wondering why anyone is “anti-woke”, what does “anti-woke” even mean? What are you against? Why is wokeness so upsetting to you?

by the way “woke” is a term appropriated from BIPOC slang “stay woke” which was AAVE code for “look out for police injustice and racism”. White liberals appropriated the term to mean “progressive thinking”, the right-wing uses it as a buzzword to gain support. But, I’ve wondered what being “anti woke” actually means. Why “woke” us such a threat?

I don't know what "antiwoke" means but I'll tell you why I don't like the woke movement.

When I was in highschool, the word woke was used like this: well, I'm woke (in a condescending tone) so I believe everyone should get free Healthcare.

And then you'd say something like: alright, but how are we going to do that? We'd have to rebuild Healthcare in this country from the ground up.

And then they would look at you with big eyes an earrings with astrological symbols dangling (I'm not even trying to be a dick right now) and they'd scoff at you, call you a name and walk away.

Now you literally have an enemy for life. Just for that conversation.

After years of similar conversations with self proclaimed "woke" people in college, I finally asked someone "doesn't woke mean to open your eyes? Why do you guys always start screaming and freaking out whenever you hear something different from what you want to hear. It might change your mind" she said that she didn't want her mind to be changed and there was nothing that could disprove what she saw on CNN.

Not joking, and I've had pretty much that exact conversation multiple times, with multiple people in different areas of new jersey and new york and the internet.

The woke movement confused me until a couple years before the pandemic when the left started aligning itself with the woke movement more publically. Now all of a sudden Joe rogan is somehow a liberal, Donald trump is somehow a radical leftist, somehow a pipeline for oil is worse for the environment than barges the size of cities trailing all the way across the ocean, ruining aquatic habitats, polluting millions of barrels into the ocean every year, hundreds of thousands just from the way they clean the ships.

And somehow if you question any of these moves which fuck over the environment and the ordinary person but make large corperations insanely wealthy, you're a bigot who isn't woke (has their eyes closed) and should probably get doxxed out of your job.

Here is an example of woke:
Joe Biden : we are against racism and sexism. We don’t judge people by their race or sex.
Also Joe Biden: I will only nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court.

Woke people: Women should have equal rights as men.
Also woke people: Let’s give women special benefits in starting a business.

Woke teacher from Florida: We are against racism. Same teacher: We had the white students bow to and serve the black students for black history month. It was fun and games.

Elon musk describes the woke as childish bullies that have to have their own way. Michelle Obama used to like to read the Cat in the Hat to children, but the woke was against it because it's racist to black people.
The Algonquian word for woman is squaw. So that word had to go because it's racist.
The sleeping beauty exhibit at Disney world had to go, because according to the fable, the Prince never got permission before he kissed sleeping beauty.
The French cartoon skunk Pepe Le Pew had to go, because he kept trying to kiss a cat. The woke and said that promotes rape culture.
The cartoon mouse speedy Gonzalez had to go, because he was a Mexican mouse.
The Frito bandito had to go, because it suggested all Mexicans are bandidos.

San Francisco is banned the words chief and master because they are racist terms. So I guess no more chief of police or Master of ceremonies.

You asked why not "if" so I have to think of extremely specific cases where I am against them. I do think every direction has an extremist part. Yes these do exists in with woke people and I definitely can't agree with all of them. Some people say in my personal opinion just "BS" and harm those that share some of their opinions more than they help them.

Because some of them posted "BS" online they are used as opinions against me when I argue with actual "anti woke" people. As these people see an "I agree with you on this specific part" as ultimate "winning" the argument they often come back with things like "I already won your argument is invalid you agreed with me already."

I believe that woke culture seeks to normalize and promote many types of behavior which attack the culture of the majority and which do not promote the survival of our species. Judged by those standards, woke culture is harmful.

Because wokeness is about promoting hatred, resentment and divisionism.

Wokeness is about finding fault with white men and blaming us for everything. Wokeness is about having a secularized neo-christian view of the world, where white men are born with the "sin" of being themselves.

Wokeness is about liberalism. Show me just one liberal society that succeeded in history and didn't end up swallowed by chaos. Liberalism is by itself an anti-natural view of the world, and wokeness is a worsened version of it.

Because a lot of it is based on false rumors in media. Most stuff is taken way out of line and they put groups in different categories not realizing white people can be just as much as victims as black people. For example BLM donated almost all of its money to the owners mansions in Beverly Hills. Feminism movenent already have all the rights they need in the western world. Its embarassing how they act.

the woke agenda has been normalizing trans people, creating hostility towards police, creating unequal work environments, rewarding the wrong people, creating shitty learning environments at school, teaching children shame and white guilt, allowing the wrong kind of immigrants. probably lots of other stuff too. They need to be fought against.

For example: there is one woke activist in my country that says there are no biological differences between men and women, and all the difference is only a cultural thing (so if you raise someone to be a girl she would have periods and otherwise not).

Some people I’ve heard who are anti woke believe that there is objective truth vs subjective truth and lived experiences. Also there are examples where someone who is woke doesn’t want to work hard at their jobs.

A lot of the anti-woke feeling is directed at the cancel-culture thing where anyone feeling offended demands retribution. An example: A recent article on the internet mentioned how a teacher at an expensive British private school said to her class something like "good morning, girls" (it was an all biological F class). Some of the students were offended because they didn't identify as girls and raised a big fuss. The administration made the teacher apologize to the class.
