There are female businesses and female spaces only males are not even permitted. However there are no male businesses or spaces only that forbid females. Do you think that is in any way fair? Yes or no and how do you see that as fair?
Well, I mean, my dad belongs to a men’s club, no women allowed except for certain special events where you can bring your wife or a date.
I think there’s a difference in dynamic where men can pose a potential physical threat to women, whereas most women don’t really pose a genuine physical threat to most men, it’s rooted in that. Or even non-physical threats, let’s just say the opposite sex “making someone uncomfortable”, whether real or imagined or somewhere in between, that’s just generally more likely to be felt by a woman than it would be by a man. There are unequal power dynamics in the world, so sometimes things will appear to favor one demographic over another, but it’s really just based on actual need. Take a women’s gym for example…. when I hit the squat rack, there aren’t a bunch of chicks ogling me with varying degrees of discretion, I’m never made to feel uncomfortable. Women start squatting and every dude in the place is trying watch out of the corner of their eye, or via a mirror reflection, or some will just outright stare, lmao. It’s just different, so the needs for isolated spaces is different.

Definitely not, things are made for a purpose, this is not a situation like there are 5 five year old girls and 5 five year old boys and u give each girl an Italian pastry and you give each guy a slice of stale bread. Now that would be unfair and more so because they are children. But in the above case , some places are made for women because there is a situation of need in the female perspective that may not be there in the male situation. An example guys do not need any privacy in a hair cutting situation , so u can have unisex hair cutting joints. However, you need a separate area for women having bikini waxes. I mean no man save an absolute pervert would even like to be there. No the other hand , men would not like a men’s restroom where women were allowed. We piss in the open, in urinals and I would not like to have the thought that a woman may burst in and catch a glance at my sleeping tool. Obviously, I would like to piss in privacy. I mean just like of an elderly man who desperately needed to adjust his wig and there were women around. So it is a needs based situation and not one of gender equity.
What’s the problem with women only businesses and spaces? I do not believe women are equal to men, and most women don’t, but it’s fair to demand equal treatment in areas that men and women CAN BE equal, like a female vs. male lawyer who are on the same level of intelligence in the subject.
As for female only businesses and spaces, the only real female only things I’ve seen were either:
A.) Made for the comfortability of women from being harassed by men
B.) Made BY a man to exploit the woman
C.) Something only a WOMAN could obviously do
Women only spaces at gyms make women feel comfortable because men are absolute vultures at the gym. Getting a job at Hooters, that only employs women (from my knowledge) is an audience made for the male gaze. They don’t hire men because no man comes to see another man dressed in orange spandex tights walking around.
The need for equal spaces for men would work if men didn’t already fully occupy most of the spaces. My gym is 90% men. Most women have experienced sexual assault in their life by a man. When that stops, then maybe the need will stop.
@CB-Raido-Time What's the issue?
Female only places were predominantly designed to PROTECT women not discriminate whereas male only places are predominantly designed to DISCRIMINATE.
And
Male only clubs & male only gyms exist. There are male only places such as rehab centers, homeless shelters, half-way houses, jails, etc. The handful of male organizations allowing "women" are only allowing "women" who were originally men.
Maybe you should broaden your horizons & educate yourself? Hmmm.
As for things like Scouts that Ranger mentioned Boy Scouts & girls have been interwoven for YEARS in different ways than direct involvement. So the "change" is hardly extreme - it is extreme if someone has had their head up their ass all their life.

There are many things in life that aren't fair, opening a business to target only one audience will limit the business that you do ultimately, so it isn't like a man only, or female only business is doing themselves any favors.
On the flip side, I don't believe that either should be able to get state or federal financing to run their business, especially SBA unless the scope of their business is a women's shelter or a men's homeless shelter, along those lines.
Those are the only three "male spaces" I can think of, locker room, strip clubs, and homeless shelters. It is very rare to see women as customers in strip clubs who do not work there. Likewise even in strip clubs where men strip, the customers are men, at least the ones who are spending money.
Whenever there are “male only” spaces then feminists make it their life mission to invade. Like why is that Boy Scouts now admit girls when the Girl Scouts always existed?
Anyway overall I really don’t care. However there is one place where I wouldn’t mind there being male only facilities: fitness gyms.
I personally go to the gym for one reason and one reason only: to exercise and get a job done. In the past maybe once in a blue moon I might come across a friendly girl and just say hello. But I sure as hell don’t go to gyms just for that nor do I got out of my way IN the gym for it. I don’t waste my time staring either. I’m focused at the task at hand: a hard workout.
But all the recent (and often disgusting) IG and TikTok videos of women secretly filming random me and calling them “creeps” in gyms infuriated me.
These men were being recorded without their consent and had their identities broadcasted to entire the world. Some of the disgusting women who did this did (rightfully) got harsh backlash. But still these guys were getting their faces and likeness plastered everywhere.
There needs to be male only gyms so guys can put the hard work in, not get distracted and not be paranoid. There is nothing “gay” about that either. Many bodybuilding gyms were male only prior to the 70s and 80s.
In a world in 2023, where women preach all the time about being equal to men, I see this as a special privilege that shouldn't exist. Women are already equal to men, the Feminist movement already accomplished all its goals. It's reached the point where women want special privileges, and they disguise them as rights.
I can name at least 5 to 10 privileges women have in the Western world off the top of my head without using Google.
Conclusion: this isn't fair or equal, considering the sociopolitical climate where women cry about fairness and equality all the time. It just makes women look more hypocritical, than anything.I have no issue with exclusive clubs, including women's only golf. society is not fair and the problem is historical where men had power and took the power to themselves apparently, abusive. so it's paybacks. I went to a men's event once and was protested by several females. I told them, I want invitations to their women's cookie and tea parties. At that event, men spoke highly of women and their roles. In other settings like church, ment's group and men's counseling was highly promoted and accepted by women... they understand the value to men gaining support as it benefits their lives as well.
put up a sign that says "Proudly male owned business".
You will get no praise, even hate.
I think it is important to have women-only clubs, gyms, and other spaces. Businesses, if they are so motivated. However, I am completely against the double standard that seeks to eliminate male-only spaces (like formerly the boy scouts, schools, clubs, etc.). The patently obvious violation of the right to free assembly aside, with many boys growing up in households without fathers present these would serve a valuable function in providing role models for masculinity and social opportunities for men in general, but there are few such places now due to feminist activism.
I think it's fine. You should be allowed womens only businesses/spaces, same for men, same if someone wants only Whites/Blacks/Asians, only straight people only gay people, it should all be allowed. Businesses don't thrive on their demographic, they thrive on their services and products and the public decides the success by whether they choose to use the service or buy the product. Either people will disagree with the hiring practice or won't be happy so won't use the service and the business will fail and cease to exist unless they try a new angle or people will be fine with it and the business will continue to provide service and jobs
Men have had everything for thousands of years. As soon as women get the smallest tiny thing you guys are gonna freak out and complain?
If you're gonna bitch this much about female only spaces imagine how women used to feel when the entire world was a male only space 🙄Personally I’m very thankful for female only spaces. Men are significantly more likely to assault me, harm me or make me uncomfortable than women are, based on personal experience. And it’s much less anxiety-inducing to go to women’s only gyms or spas, than it is to go to mixed gender gyms and spas. But that’s my own experience, it’s why I personally appreciate having these spaces available.
First you got to find a guy to give a shit. That's pretty hard to find. Second that guy needs to convince a bunch of other guys to some sausage party. That's even harder.
We as men don't tend to give a fuck about ourselves let alone give a fuck about some other guy. Why have men spaces? Everything in my eyesight is my safeplace because i know whats what and power within reason to keep myself safe.
Men created ALL of civilizations and infrastructures. We own it , all of it. What little stuff women have , let them have it so they'll stay TF out of ours. If women really wanted men in they're lives , they'd act like it. Feminism and women this and women that etc... is just rebellion which relatively isn't anything abrasive to a man truthfully. If women truthfully cared about men as they should by intentional design, they'll act accordingly unlike men would. At the end of the day women will only have other women unlike men will have.
Because every space is a male space and every business has a male involved in it somewhere.
It's why slavery, colonialism and empire had to end eventually. To many White males making "spaces" around the world, only for themselves.
The sole reason is a lot of men are abusive and harassy. Not saying men never get sexually or physically tormented by women, some do. But the percentage is relatively lesser. Men are potential threats. And don't gimme the "not all men" because I don't have "bad men detector" lmao. So yes, males are forbidden in certain spaces.
What are you talking about? There are male owned businesses; clothing stores for men only; male only bathrooms and locker rooms. There are lots of businesses that cater to men even if women aren't barred from entering.
I don't see the problem. Only the male equivalents of liberal snowflakes feel discriminated against.
Most men actually like to be able to mingle with women.
I don't know where that parking spot is, but it's unenforceable. Seems like a gimmick.Fair? I don't know if it's a matter of fair or unfair.
I'm interested to see how female only businesses do. How different will they be from other businesses as they mature? I've heard of the idea but I don't know any female only businesses off the top of my head. I feel like I saw one one time on shark tank thoughThere are male spaces considering men can go anywhere they want to hurt or disturb women’s peace. Women get away from men for safety reasons, why do men want to get away from women? To diminish the reality of women’s experiences in the presence of men, the dangerous gender. Whats actually isn’t fair, is that there’s no safe place for women to go. You think we have safe spaces but everywhere we are there’s men and danger that follows
I personally do not care if my competition wants to limit their efficiency by excluding some better employees. I hire the best applicants irrespective of race or sex or any other inherited characteristic.
But as far as male-only spaces, yes, those do exist. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 contains an exemption for private clubs in their membership activities.Yes it's fair. Most spaces are dominated by men. Especially gyms, you walk into a gym at any time of the day and you can guarantee you will not be the only man there. For women that isn't the case.
I can't think of any other places that are women only besides for some gyms and medical clinics which cater to female anatomy so not sure what the problem is really.
It has become acceptable for women to enter male sports, locker rooms, showers, restrooms, clubs, and all other male only spaces without any legal consequence. However men do not have the same privilege when it comes to female designated areas.
There are male only spaces. But feminist spaz out everytime they find one and try to invade or have it shut down for being misogynistic
Doesn't matter. Those are completely unenforceable. I won't park in a slot reserved for pregnant mothers. But a spot just for a woman? sorry, that is fair game. Are women too fragile to walk?
