We obviously know that it isn’t good for a man to be in a woman’s bathroom but isn’t it same thing the other way around in the sense of privacy? obviously there has been more instances of men doing illegal and creepy things in the women’s bathroom but there have also been instances where women would do the same. what is your perspective on it,? do you think it should not be a big deal for a women to be in the men’s bathroom. I for one as a man want respect and privacy and I also understand women’s want for privacy to which I’m all in favor for.
And finally, someone figures it out. Back in the 70's (I think) Melissa Ludtke won a lawsuit against that kept her, as a female reporter, out of team locker rooms. Well, that makes sense; it WAS discriminatory. Logically, team members would tell reporters "Fuck off; we're naked in here and want some privacy- talk to us afterwards", but they lacked the guts to defy the orders prohibiting that. So it was only fair to allowed her in if they allowed anyone.
So she was rational and professional in the course of doing her duty, right? Ha! This is the same woman who, when interviewed about it after the fact, that the men on the team were "going around naked" in order "to intimidate her". Goodness knows there is no other reason a person would ever be naked in a locker room after finishing a game.
Nor is she a lone example; in 1990, Lisa Olson, a reporter for the Boston Herald, was openly peeking in at the shower entrance to see the players naked. Knowing they couldn't kick her out, the team decided to call her on it by direct confrontation: walk out buck naked and start taunting her directly on her impropriety and lack of professionalism. She sued, naturally, and won, in defiance of all laws of Man and God; the players were punished and multiple team managers fired.
Those are the two most famous cases, but I could cite precedent all day; it's a blatant double standard, and one that the legal system has examined and found perfectly acceptable on the grounds of "It's just different" (it is, in fact, not).
And since empathy is apparently too much to ask, equality has to be forced through unconventional means- and the poor transsexuals get caught in the middle.

As a feminist I believe in equality, which obviously means I think it is equally bad when a woman does something criminal as it would be if it was a man. Everyone has the right to personal space and privacy, especially in places like bathrooms and changing rooms.
It is yes. Some people might point out the biological differences that women can't do as much harm as men, but I don't think that's the point here. Just because she can't do as much harm doesn't mean her behavior is acceptable, especially in the peeping tom or creepy sense. One thing to accidentally walk in the other restroom, another to intentionally invade it. I'm sure most men would not want women in their private spaces. So, best to respect them. Us women wouldn't want them to do the same to us.
you think we want to see men using urinals? no thanks 😁
Okay but yeah, it's an invasion of privacy either way. We only talk about men doing it because they're the more violent gender

You have never seen anything inappropriate that you weren’t expecting in a public bathroom. You spare a space for urinal usage and take care of yourself. It’s the same with stalls; you do your business and move on with clean hands after washing.
I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. Also, there’s a good chance her job was to clean the men’s room, and she had just finished and was washing her hands. People get really angry at dirty bathrooms but doubly pissy while they are being cleaned.
Nonsense. You’re way over generalizing. There are cultures in which bathrooms, spas and saunas are open to both genders of all ages. Just because the US is chock full of sexually dysfunctional idiots and buttholes, it doesn’t suggest anything about human nature. Healthy, well adjusted men, women and children can share any space without terrible things happening. But don’t let the facts get in the way of your narrative.
No one should enter the bathroom of opposite gender
I had a Lady professor in college who entered men's washroom with no hesitation because she was skeptical that some guys hid some books there to cheat for the exam
She was suspended and she was acting surprised
So what you said is true , there are people who think it's not a big deal for women to enter men's spacesI don't even like to use a public bathroom. I doubt I would even notice if women were in there. I just want to get in and out again without getting raped by gay men.
There is no inherent risk of a biological woman overpowering a man and raping him like there is with a biological man doing that to a woman, hence the separation of the bathrooms
