I don't touch the stuff, it's crap anyways to me, so I don't care.

I didn't know it was a conservative beer or that existed. I thought it was the "redneck" beer of choice.

They poisoned the image many men have when they go to grab that beer.

Has something to do with "real" men... you know, the ones that have huge guts, that sit around watching NASCAR cars go around the track, or tinker with the engines in their cars, or watch football in their man cave with their buddies... don't like seeing a fake woman on the can, or seeing their buddy drinking out of a can with a fag on it... oops, not sure were allowed to say that, the word was cancelled... but remains in the psyche.

Anyone that knows food knows the presentation is half the battle. Bud... is done.

Question is how do you save it... I think ya end up re-branding it completely and dropping the price, maybe that works. doubt it.

I have no idea why. I do have to wonder what purpose it serves for someone to buy several cases of Bud Light, line them up in rows of 3-4, then run over them with a bulldozer and put the video on YouTube. So let me get this right, they bought $300 worth of product they didn't drink anyway, just so they could show their contempt for it, but they spent $300 to buy the product? If that's a boycott, I think they're doing it wrong. Anheuser-Busch is an iconic company with several brands and reportedly over 160,000 employees worldwide, so what's end game supposed to be? The marketing ploy backfired, and looking back, the marketer is at fault. Aligning with the progressive left is generally a safe move for companies these days. Bud Light relies on a younger target audience, where inclusivity is in vogue. While some Republicans may boycott the brand, it's likely that Bud Light has sufficient resources to bounce back from the incident.
