Is the rape lawsuit against Trump a scam?

I think it is a scam. The woman complaining is testifying now, and:

Her story is a bit too contrived; conveniently she cannot recall the date or even the month and year that the alleged rape occurred, she waited until her book was being published to accuse Trump, she cannot recall the date that the supposed rape occurred, and her email to her friend about this references a "sceme" and their "patriotic duty".

I am not a Republican nor a lover of Trump in any way, but even Trump deserves a fair trial and the benefit of the doubt. I think her story is self-serving BS.

It likely is a scam, but many civil cases are scams, it's why the PI industry thrives so much, if civil trials are wars, then lawyers are the arms dealers, and PIs are the ammo manufacturers.

Whether the casus belli is just, or a scam, neither the arms or ammo will care.

Hell, I worked at a PI firm for a while and the only clients we had were oil and shipping companies hiring for fraud cases specifically in court, like if any one of the people we investigated had taken an out of court settlement they'd be retired, but every single one over a long enough period of time got caught on camera, and then lost everything they owned in the counter suit for damages and court costs.

Anyway, I don't think that'll damage Trump, at least not long run financially or politically. The one case he has coming up which could legitimately damage him is also the most legitimate charges out of the circus, the ones in Georgia.

I know people can have false memories. When I look at the woman, she does not look so healthy mentally, but I've not heard a peep from her. I tend to think there could be some trauma. But whose version is right? Any guy can get overly aggressive and make bad decision, and the victim is left in a state of despair. It's possible. All kinds of guys "get it on" in the weirdest places, and with women. If he was doing this, he had all sorts of Mrs USA contestants around... wouldn't there be droves of them?

In my opinion, Billionaires don't rape 50 year old women, let alone in public place. Furthermore, women lie for money and there are many women waiting 20 plus years claiming rape against some famous man for money or political purposes. Furthermore, she has all the right answers which tell me she was well grilled and trained on the questions she would be asked and how to respond.

However, the trial in Manhattan. That guarantees that both the judge and the jury will be heavily biased against Trump. The case would never go to trial if in 90% of the cities in the USA. In fact, there would have been no attempt.

Who knows? Only two people know the truth. Trump has a long history of sexual assault claims. I think he is certainly capable of this kind of thing but when someone is seeking financial compensation 30 years later, it’s fair to question the motives. Maybe she’s lying. Maybe she’s not. It's disturbing that she didn't decide to prosecute until Trump decided to run for president but that doesn't mean she wasn't raped and defamed.
