What is rape if not forcible sexual assault that involves genitals?

Forced kissing, grabbing boobs or butt, or touching isn't rape. That stuff may be assault but not rape. Undressing someone with your eyes isn't rape. Consensual sex can't later be construed to be rape.

In the book she said she had been assaulted in her life by 23 different men. At 12 by a counsellor at camp, her babysitters boyfriend, her accountant, her mechanic, a mobster, a guy in high school, a fur trapper, a TV executive, serial killer etc.

That’s far too many to be believable. Either she’s lying to make men in general look bad or she wanted these people to knock her up so that she could spin the story.
