Depends on what they are proud about specifically in relation to their body.
For their health and functionality they shouldn't be proud of it unless they lost weight due to improvements in their lifestyle. That makes complete sense as long as they continue keep working to becoming healthy.
Also, I think it's completely fine for someone who is fat to proud of their body's appearance, as people should be taught to be comfortable with how your body looks no matter your weight or shape. However, I do not think being comfortable with your body's looks should prioritize health.
I am against fat shaming people. I used to be a fat kid. But pretending that being fat is okay is wrong. It turns out that fat is not this inert substance people used to think. It metabolizes all kinds of toxins into the body.
Maybe not proud of their bodies... but they should def love themselves!
Really I don't get why so many people care about how heavy other people are..
If you don't like how they look move along...
Hell yeah. Any idiot can get a six pack, you just don't eat much, it's a sign you can't afford food. But putting on proper fat takes serious dedication to eating,

What? No, that’s like dumb people being proud of their intelligence. Or Americans being proud of their politicians.
Don’t be proud of shit you should be ashamed of.
I don't see how being obese would be a thing to be proud of. Knowing you can't run but also don't feel entirely attractive while Jim over there says you look good but feels like he's mockin' said fat person. :1
Not proud Really but Also not Fat Sham Them. I have Always been at a Good Weight But I don't Fat Sham Others. Just Comment They have Issues or Say "How can One Get this Big?"xx
If they consider eating 6000 kcal every day as an achievement? I think it's illness. Maybe cancer patient should be proud of their tumors like about their children?
I honestly don't care if they are proud or not, but they shouldn't expect the rest of us to celebrate their obesity as if it's some sort of accomplishment.
No not proud but not shamed either. Random people shouldn't judge their weight but loved ones and their doctor showing consern is a good thing if you ask me.
They should be proud of who they are. Not be proud of being fat.
I'm an old, fat man and pass the point to give a shit about it anymore. :)
No, it's not healthy for them, they should lose weight.
I have no opinion on this.
