Ron DeSantis is doing so many things to make his State even more safe. How come other governor's don't make their States better?

Ron DeSantis is taking legal steps to keep the Chinese Communist Party out of Florida. He's not allowing their food products or buying up all of Florida's land so they will just grow the food they want. There are other things he's doing as well.
I don't ever hear about other Governor's doing much -
especially California's governor. Another law he is signing is so children aren't allowed to change their sexual organs. He believes it's mutilation and not healthcare.
Also, he is keeping WOKE out of Florida.

He's doing some really good things. I particularly agree with his stance on protecting children from the trans agenda.

But the fact that he is a strong Zionist is unacceptable. He's a Zionist/Israeli puppet.

There is a book called The Controversy of Zion by Douglas Reed that is well worth readying. It goes into the entire history.

Desantis, though, is basically an Israeli puppet. And despite what we hear from Washington and in the mainstream press, Israel is not our friend.

Because he is the only one who has the guts to do it, the other governors are too afraid to do it because they feel like they won’t get re-elected if they try to make a difference that helps the state and people

I live in a state where the govenor is the opposite if DeSantis. Her head of the DOE gave a speech about education. He said they planned on remaining education with equity as its focal point. That was all I needed to hear. If I had kids in the system I would be sending them to private schools

@TrueConfection I am working on it. my kids too. Last Saturday i had a conversation with my daughter. not only does she want to leave the state but wanted to know what other country i would like to move too. My kids all work online so they could live anywhere.

@TrueConfection I have applied for a few jobs down there. I figure that I could do an online interview and see where it goes from there. I really think that there is no fixing this and where I live is getting more toxic by the day. There is a bill going through the state legislature to charge an "exchange" tax which will put a 2% surcharge if you sell your house. There had been a mass exodus out of the state and I guess the politicians want to cash in on it.

It is sad it has come to this but after the last election and how bad things have gotten even if Trump wins the election the country is just too messed up. My best friend moved to NC a couple of years ago. He says I would fit right in.

A long time ago when my grandparents were still alive they owned a house in one of the better sections of the city. They lived at the top of a hill. The houses were all well kept and there was low crime. They had a two family house and my aunt and uncle lived in the other side. The neighborhood star t Ed to go down hill. The little variety store at the bottom of the hill was regularly robbed and vandalized, graffiti started to show up and my uncle had his d car stolen right in front of the house. My other uncle who is in the real estate business said they should sell the place and move to the suburbs. Once a neighborhood starts to go downhill it never gets better. They did not want to move and as years went by it got worse. Finally they decided go move. By that time only the city was interested in buying the big two family house. They were going to use it for section 8 housing. They only got 11 thousand dollars for it. This was in 1989.

@sage2021 My wife came from a real close family. Years ago when I began my second career I interviewed for a job at NASA. I even got my Senator to make a call on my behalf. The NASA lady said I was on the "short list". A big envelope shows up at the house with the NASA logo on it. Wy wife told me that if i was going to move to Florida I would have to go alone. Now that her parents are dead she does not see her sisters much anymore. The hard part would be to get my kids on board. My daughter seemed to think it is a good idea but I have to get one of my sons to do it too. they all work remotely so it would be doable.
I might want to find a job down there. There are hundreds of colleges in Florida. But maybe I will just retire.
