If you want to believe propaganda feel free to. We're only getting one side of a story, as Russians are only getting one side of a story.
War is way more complicated than "good guys vs. bad guys." Besides overlooking the most important part, they're living in Denmark, so they only have the Western story to begin with, with no involvement supporting Russia. Well, maybe now, as they'll go back to being Russian natives if they got kicked out of Denmark.

Then again, you have shown yourself to be dishonest by falsely claiming Trump was "convicted". A civil judgement against him isn't a conviction, and it's even less impressive when you consider the following:

1) The accuser was funded by a big-money Democratic Party donor
2) New York passed a law so the accuser could sue Trump
3) The accuser could not even say what year the rape she alleged occurred actually happened (note that even this NYC jury filled with Democrats rejected the claim she was raped)
4) The jury decided something "might have happened" and awarded damages against Trump for "defamation" because he denied the rape (something the jury agreed didn't happen)
5) There were no witnesses and there was no evidence

Nothing to hang your hat on. But Pedo Joe has been caught on camera numerous types groping and improperly touching minors. If he is allowed to be corrupt, do you think anything will be done about anything else he does? Of course not. His puppetmasters don't want him prosecuted.

That is to say most of what they have set out to accomplish they are accomplishing, but they aren’t at the point were they can sue for peace yet. Russia's stated war goals were demilitarization, denazification, and liberation of the territories of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. They technically can’t demilitarize Ukraine so long as NATO keeps sending them arms and training new recruits. That said, Russia did significant damage to Ukraine’s initial equipment and means to produce and repair military equipment. As of now they are for the most part dependent on foreign weapon systems and foreign allies to repair and maintain said equipment outside their borders across the line in Poland. If the political winds change, then that all comes to an end for them. Azov and groups like them that promote Nazi ideals have for the most part been decimated. Ukrainians that continue to fight are conscripts for the most part that have no real military tradition. While they have unity with their countrymen to defend their home, they don’t have unity with the Nazis in philosophy necessarily.

As for the territories of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts, Luhansk is currently occupied by Russia and has been consistently held behind their defense line. The majority of Donetsk oblasts is currently occupied, but that is primarily were the fight continues. Russia is utilizing their ranged advantage to carry out siege warfare which was always expected. Russia’s army is very armor and artillery heavy... Siege warfare is characterized by low-intensity conflict by Russia holding a strong static defensive position and wearing down the enemy’s will to fight through attrition. Occasionally the defensive line will fluctuate granting an advantage to one side which can encourage opportunity for negotiation. Ultimately that is what Russian needs to accomplish. They need to negotiate a new border for the territories of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. In contrast, Ukraine has no real ability to fight back, but occasionally they attempt to carry out counter attacks with NATO stockpiles that lead to massive losses. This is their counter offer to negotiation. That is to say, they do not want to negotiate yet. Ukraine is still willing to send more meat into the grinder. So it continues on...

@NewtoTheSouth That was never a publicly stated war goal. All you are doing by perpetuating that propaganda is proving to the world that you are a liar and have absolutely no credibility. In order to begin a just war, you must have a valid casus belli. You must justify your actions to the world community so they don’t just dog pile on you from all directions. Russia openly declared their casus belli to the world which contains the above four war goals. Privately they can have all the ulterior motives they want, but all wars at some point come to an end and at that point their actions have to be justified in order to broker a peace during negotiations. During the war they have to operate within the law of war or they will be seen as war criminals and potentially tried for said war crimes. Thus far, Russia is doing what they have said they were going to do. Thus while the world community is supplying arms to Ukraine, they haven’t officially intervened and committed troops to change the direction of the war. It’s true that Russia has taken more territory than the above two mentioned along their border to create a buffer, but often what occurs in war is that territory is handed back in negotiations in trade to liberate other territory or to establish a demilitarized zone between two countries for mutual safety. As Russia clearly stated they wanted to demilitarize Ukraine. They didn’t want armies and potentially nuclear weapons on their border. Thus what they are doing is very logical in relation to their stated war goals.
