Bad experience with police?

Has anyone ever been the victim? Any bad experience with the police? Last week a guy got arrested for apparently having dangerous dogs. The police shot both dogs one was barking and the other got tazard and try to run away and the police ran after the dog and shot it back of the head. This happened in London last week, the public recorded it all and said the police were discussing the way they handled it.

In the 80s the punk rock scene in the US had many clashes with the police. It was common practice for them to handcuff people to light polls and beat them with batons. I had a friend who was executed point black shot in the back of his head, because he "reached for sn officers firearm." He was handcuffed behind his back at the time and there were three police present.

I was at the MDC show in Vegas where the police followed them into the desert, and tried to pull them over outside of their jurisdiction.

I also had my face smashed into the ground for requesting to speak with an attorney before questioning.

I understand that its better now with body cameras. But in the 80s the cops were horrible.

no. staying calm, ditch the combative attitude and following orders should reduce a lot of bad experiences

too many people these days are allergic to being compliant and following orders from authority figures believing they themselves are above the law

instead society would rather people follow stupid "unwritten rules" than following the actual rules written into the law

I was not believed when I filed a report about being stalked because the guy stalking me filed a report against me before I filed a report against him but eventually he got deported after failing to get Canadian citizenship.

I have never had a bad experience with police.

I've been pulled over for speeding a few times but always remained polite and was let go with a warning.

I have not, I realize that being a white male has a great impact on that. I had traffic stops that were sketchy, I just kept my mouth shut, answered yes and no answers and kept my hands visible. Remember you can always file a complaint and use the courts later. Fighting with a police officer isn’t going to end well for you. I understand that minority communities have resources available to help you get started.
