Nice question! I am not very patriotic. I have this feminine desire to just leave my country behind and live somewhere completely different. I want to adopt a different culture, accent (get rid of my British and Indian "hybrid" accent), religion etc. I am not at all territorial like men. Anyone can come live in my country.

I always wonder if there's a place for me in white man's paradise (the West). I can't deny that those countries look like heaven (mostly). I have travelled and found the people are friendlier than they are on the internet. The country I live in is not the worst but there are so many better ones out there. When I visit them, I don't feel like leaving.

Great answer and similar to my question.

I've felt the same way recently in the sense of lost culture being a white American. I just got back from a week in Germany and thought it was a good view into how others live. I've been to other countries though not desirable ones to live in so I've seen a mix of how the world is. Can't say I'm sold on staying "American"..

    Nice question!

Well Sweden has become so americanized (i know thats not a real word but you get what I mean😂) and I speak English every day at home with my roomate. But I do still feel "swedish". We still have our traditions like "midsummer", "majbrasan" and we celebrate Christmas the 24th.

I am not too close to my own culture, its kinda seen as a "whatever" situation. But its definatly there. Its not so intressting when you are used to it lol

Since Vivek Ramaswamy announced his candidacy for President, my optimism for the U. S. has risen fabulously.

The U. S. is here, we're going to be stronger than ever, we will unite, we will thrive and prosper.

    Things WILL be better.

The first step is believing it to be possible.

    I believe!

I am proud to be American. I am of this country as opposed to simply from this country. I know America is in a slump right now but I am sure it will get better again.

sometimes feel that connection and a little bit of national pride like during the world cup and stuff like that but usually dont feel connected or anything at all. mainly cos i have two nationalities (french & American) and have found that i'm too french to be American and too American to be french, so dont completely feel at home in the countries. funnily enough even have a bit of the respective countries accent in both languages. like people from both countries often ask me where i'm from lol. plus throw in that i grew up in other countries too so culturally i'm a total blend so feel more nationalityless than anything most of the time

I think its just thinks American has to refer to a name and french may also be something like french toast or fresh bagel and stuff? is there anything like that beside American football?

Oh nice question. I'm not a part of my country, but I love it lol
It's just kinda there. I love mine because the land is kinda mine.

I love it a bit more for that reason, otherwise I love all countries the same.

I love mine for free speech and rights. Usa is where I'm from.

If I should make any political position, I would surely improve it.

It's a decent one. As are the others, but more so all of humanity is fucked.

Honestly, I'm pretty proud of my country, I'm not patriotic by far but I'm definitely not ashamed of my country. I'm from Baltics and pretty much who I am is shaped by that, we don't have a huge culture like Indians or east Asians, or even french do and everything we have is homey lol. That's isn't probably the most helpful answer or answer that you were looking for but I honestly don't know how to answer you questions lmao

Not really. In common parlance it’s called a country. I suppose if any area ruled by a single sovereign power is a country, then that is what it is. Perhaps it is better said that my country does not qualify as a nation. It is an empire that encompasses a myriad of disparate regions, imported cultural groups, and de-cultured peoples.

I feel like my country is splitting into two sides: the woke side and the based side. I identify with the latter and hope we can crush the former and take back our once-beautiful cities.
