I do. A smile is a smile. Not everyone smiles and having a great day and if they give you a smile, it means they’re sharing their positive vibes towards you. Pass it on!

I usually smile back and or give out smiles.

But let's be honest young woman ignore it nowadays mostly and all I get is at least nice smiles from elderly people which helps.

But honestly I think i stopped to give out smiles lately just to someone who looks genuinely interesting enough for striking up a convo for fun.

For some weird reason I get a lot of strangers smiling at me. It's weird, creepy. Option 3: I don't smile back, and I look away. In some cultures (ex. Germany, Russia) if you were to smile at some stranger in the street they'd think you were crazy. And they'd be right :D

Its always better to smile than to just ignore and walk away. People can gain energy from another person's smile! Ofcourse this can change according to the situation ( don't go smiling back to men/women who seem like they want more than a smile back from you)

i never really understood why people smile at people they do not know. If someone smiles at me, i just feel awkward and dodge eye contact.

i never said hi or good morning to people either. Its just so pointless.
