Its not the job of goverment schools to expose kids to self-destructive ideas, or really anything beyond civics, reading, writing, and Arithmetic.

If you want all of this LGBQ+ stuff you should do it on your own time, in your own form with your own money.

It's a good thing. This was a public school. Private schools can do what they want.

Its true, a private school can do whatever they want with their own money, time, and forum.

Whats silly about articles like this is it collects polling about people being against book-banning and censorship when in fact there is zero book banning or censorship going on anywhere.

A public school is a very limited institution for very limited proposes which must be broadly agreeable to nearly all of the population as everyone is forced to pay for it.

It is not the business of a public school to push anything disagreeable even to a sizable minority.
There job should be to focus on telling the kid:
1) How to read (gain knowledge),
2) How to write (communicate knowledge),
3) How to do Math (manage finances),
4: Who does what in the existing political system.(the effect of voting)
