I agree with the first car making him fly a few meters. That's a lot of damage to the human body and he won't jump up like spider-man and start shooting and running again. Also they were relatively protected in their cars, so it's ubderstandable to no leave that security to deal with an idiot with a gun.

The second car turning his bones into splinters is excessive force and most likely less caused by blood lust than by laziness. The moment they drove over him he could have been apprehended by at least one officer, the rest giving backup and assistance during the arrest. Didn't look like he had an automatic weapon, just an extended magazine, so putting in some lucky shots after the first collision wasn't very likely.

I agree. If the suspect is shooting, they need to be stopped. Hitting them with a car is a good tactic. And it's not like he hit her going 70 mph. He just knocked her down.

I agree. Ya know why? Because I shot a gun for the first time for a security 3 license. I didn't see the bullet not hit my target or when it did. And the kickback made me flinch when trying to fire. Sooo if i'm being shot at by some mofo running away from me, i ain't playing these games of being nice. :) If it stops him from shooting at him, i'll run over his goddamn legs if it makes him stop.

Believe it or not, I'd go for choice A: run them over. Deadly force is acceptable in response to deadly attacks.

They have to have actually shot at the car before they were personally in danger from the car, though.
