Your therapist is either nutty, or dishonest as hell. Most likely she's very dishonest. Either way I would not use her services. And I would make it clear why I was no longer using her services.

I'm curious what the store will do. They'll know what happened. They might not know it was a dog that did it, but they'll know they are not responsible.

I'm also curious if your therapist could be charged with some kind of crime, like fraud or something. I think she'd deserve it if she went to get a refund and got arrested instead.

She probably doesn't even realize she's doing something wrong. That makes what she's doing even worse. It shows how completely warped and self-serving her thinking is.

She's also put food in the oven and left it cooking for 3 hours (a chicken) and when she went back realised it was off the whole Time so didn't cook

Depends. See, if I paid extra for them to spray protectant on it that they claimed would keep a mountain of dog poo & urine from destroying the couch, but the dog wrecked the couch with dog poo & urine, then the store lied, and I need to be compensated. If the dog simply chewed the couch that's different.

Not that I would ever have a pet that is forced into a bad situation OR prone to create such situations. I have no patience for such things.

Yes, since the dog would just laugh at you if you tried to make him pay for it. The worse that will happen is they refuse. Sometimes the guy in the store doesn't care and will give you a new sofa anyway
