If somebody else’s Amazon package was sent to your house by accident would you return it or keep it?

My package was sent to the wrong door last night and my dad will not let me knock on the doors on my street to see if anybody received my package by mistake because he is worried I will get attacked for being an intruder if I knock on their door.

Just take it around to the right person if they're close enough.

There's nearly always someone on local social media asking I'd anyone's got their parcel alongside a proof of delivery photo that isn't their door.

Return it. If I did not pay for it then it is not rightfully mine. The fact a delivery driver might have made a mistake and dropped it off at the wrong house doesn’t things.

They're about to turn stealing packages into a federal crime with 3 years prison minimum. For U. S. Mail it already is a federal crime.
