How much has your insurance rates increased this year?

Our rates are up 25%... in a year! Hillarious!

"There's no increase in crime"... exclamates various left leaning people on this site. "Go ahead and steal Kia's and crash em... there's no consequences"... until later. lol.

It's not just us, I'm hearing from others. I wonder if this is regional or national...

What's really funny though.. it's just the start. A whole generation that is worse will follow this crowd, along with desperate migrants. You better get a 2nd or 3rd job...

Our auto insurance hasn't increased.

My wife and I both have supplemental Medicare policies to cover costs over and above what Medicare covers. Those policies have increased steadily over the years.

We had home owner's insurance with one company for over 20 years. We were notified that they would not be renewing our coverage as of the end of March 2023 because we live in a rural area that is now arbitrarily deemed to be in a fire danger zone. So we had to get "Cal Safe" fire coverage and a separate policy for normal home owner's coverage.
Come to find out, we are now paying less than we did before.

My wife just brought this to my attention recently. It was a significant amount after being pretty steady for many years. It was a bit more than 25% for both vehicles.

Mine haven’t increased, but I know some people whose rates have gone up about 25%. Some cars are more prone to be targets for catalytic converter thieves, but I don’t know if that’s the sole reason for the increase.

They haven't. One of the few perks of not having a car; you don't have to insure it.
