Do we really need a label describing a normal, non mentally ill person?
Cis is not a label. Its a word derived from Latin. Also yes, we do need words to describe things. We can't just go "Huh, light is not the normal state of the universe which means that the absence of light is normal and therefore we only need a word for day and not for the opposite."
I would have thought that you people who screech every day about how words are important should understand this.

The use of "cis" in the context of woke transgender ideology is a part of the language component of that ideology. As such I reject its use.
I like to think that cis is another way for the pride community to put labels on everyone. Or another way to make straight people feel bad for being straight. I mean have you seen the straight flag. It’s depressing.
It comes from Latin, it didn’t come out of thin air.
