What exactly are American "conservatives" (including Trump/DeSantis supporters) trying to conserve?

Chick-fil-A has hired a Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, which is more far-left than any LGBTQIA+ bullshit that the Dodgers and Target have enabled combined. Chick-fil-A is even supporting the WEF. My family calls themselves Conservatives, supporters of Trump/DeSantis, but still won't boycott Chick-fil-A or God-forbid UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. But they boycott Dodgers over stupid reasons.

Let me just say, I'm a Christian. The Dodgers' drag queens are NOT Christian, therefore are not required to live by Heaven or Hell. If we expect everyone to adapt to Christian values as a non-Christian, we live in basically an ethnostate, but focused on religion instead of race. The same "conservatives" are psuedo-"unoffended" by dark humor about black people and transgender people, yet they act like no one can make jokes about them these days. They forget South Park still exists.
