Mordern feminist is turning toxic?

I've always considered myself as a male feminist and try to learn from there prospectives as much as I can and try to change my habits and other habits.

However what I keep seeing on soical media just seems like out right hate towards men. Male creators are out right shun if they are not completely agreeing and attacking other male creators. I don't know maybe it my gender basis and or ignorance.

Extremists are bad in all realms.

A feminist can be for equality but not male domination. There are more than 4 waves of feminists.

For every 'dark feminist' (I call them), there is a MGTOW or INCEL or rapist, etc etc. They're all bad.

Don't focus on them. Those women doesn't speak for all women.

But I liken this to my and my early days on the internet.
Some don't know a time before the internet existed. Others did not know it was it was ugly and clunky.
I've seen both, and now this latest incarnation; or, rather, the continuous development of it.
In the beginning, my beginning also, I couldn't not see all the junk - the ads, flashing banners, all the shit. I remember asking my husband (who's a techie by trade, his entire career life), "How do you avoid seeing all the junk?" He replied, simply, "You just get used to it. I don't even see it anymore. I just zero in."
And before long, I was doing that, too.

Young people (not meaning this about you, your demographic) think that 'old people' ("old woman" as I just got referred to today on here) have all these missing skills on the internet or something. Depends who you talk to, interact with, but I am Gen X, and I have had the fortune or knowing life both after and before the internet. My gen created it, in fact. (Though I don't take any credit for that. But my husband can, in part.) Young people don't know how to sidestep the shit... yet. But they will learn over time. They must develop a thicker skin, and know where to walk.

Reddit shut down their INCEL-red pill sub (forget exactly what it was called) because it got far, far too toxic. There were tens upon thousands of 'men' on there who were talking not just hatred but violence toward women.
(Good on Reddit for that decision.)
So, I don't really care about these dark feminists. Yeah, they're trying to influence lawmaking. But they're in the 'basket of deplorables' in my opinion, along with their male countertypes. They'[re push-pull, you see. Counterbalance. I wish we could strike them all from the earth, honestly, but instead I guess we'll just yell at each other. (Not me, though. I'm a lover, not a fighter. I disarm and befriend. Or walk away.)

Feminism as an ideology -- just from my perspective -- needs a massive reboot. Ideologies fail when they are ineffective. I want feminism to succeed, but right now it totally looks like it's failing hard core. And the only way to make it succeed is to literally make it succeed. If I can get hot enough to get laid, then feminism can get effective enough to succeed. Ideally I'd like both to happen. Best of luck to all involved!

Feminism isn't turning toxic. It's been toxic for a long time.

And now feminism has spawned toxic men's movements like MGTOW. It took decades of toxic feminism for that to manifest the way we see it today.
