China population by age is unrecoverable and fucked up beyond repair. One child policy was basically a self destruction button. Having 70% males for 100 years isn't sustainable go fucking figure. As a non US citizen, I think American's should be, especially as Intel has sold them some design rights recently. Warfare has become more high tech and AI will become highly advantageous for example F16 with a AI pilot.

It doesn't make sense to help a competitor make innovative weapons to use against you.

Since China has stolen the F35 plans and numerous other bits of technology, I'm surprised at the tolerance being shown them by the US and it's citizens.

In terms of commercial power, China's GDP might be overstated by 60%. City lights apparently correlate well with GDP in most countries OTHER than China. This was an academic paper - I might be able to find it again if anybody happened to be interested.

In a command economy not all investment is good investment. Beijing gives local gov't their targets and they might build infrastructure wastefully.

The USA has a big problem with the numbers of colourblind people (illegitimate children) and the growing debt to fund them whilst the numbers of rightful brainy babies are almost zero and for 3 or 4 decades now.
