LGBTQ+ pride is to fight for the right to marry someone of the same sex, the right for us to be who we want to be if we feel like we’re trapped in the wrong body, the right to identify ourselves as neither male nor female but non binary. White pride is just a deluded idea to combat Black Lives Matter.

so are you the spokes person of the lgbtq movement? or from where do you take the authority to say what it's about? last time i checked, they didn't have a mutually aggreed upon manifesto. by the way "identification" is not a thing that is one sidedly determined by the individual. you can't identify as the king of america. it demands others to agree with ones self identification. and that should and can't be forced but that's exactly what they do.

I’m a better spokesperson than you’ll ever be. I’m bisexual, I’m part of the LGBTQ + community so I know a lot more about the subject than you do pal.

"i'm a better spokes person than you'll ever be" why? cause you disagree with what i'm saying? that seems to be a very petty statement. you know i think it matters more to look at what a movement "does" than what a movement "claims to do". and by the way: being "knowledgable" is one of these things that you can not "self identify" as. like just claiming you know more doesn't cut it. so you are part of the lgbtq community. how so? you have a membership pass? or is this another self identification thing yet again?

I’m part of the LGBTQ + community because I came out as bisexual. It appears that you’re very toxic and that you hate our community so I’m not going to entertain you anymore.

see that's the problem with lgbtq. any and every argument they disagree with on the surfice is labeled with some buzzword like "toxic", "bigotted", "hateful", "somethin-ist" or "something-phobic". no thought spent whatsoever of what anything actually means. just being up in your emontional world, far away from any rational realism.

to me there's a big difference between people that happen to be LGBTQ and this "LGBTQ community" because there's plenty of LGBTQ people who hate the LGBTQ movement. so what you just said implies that one is automatically part of that community, if they happen to that sexuality, which is just plain not correct.

so then you take everyone who says anything against this lgbtq community as personal attack which is just nonsensical hysteria based on false thinking.

    The difference is:

White Pride usually means i am better than anybody else because my skin is pale.

LGBTQ Pride is, i am proud i can finally publically admit it, and no longer have to be afraid of going to jail or being forced to commit suicide in a christian brainwashing camp.

well you could also say that lgbtq pride is all about either virtue signaling for a supposedly "oppressed group of people" or forcing consent with alternative sexual ideas by forbidding disagreement. putting the needs and wants of one "group of people" over the needs and wants of the individual. which is pretty much the textbook definition of fascism.

i mean the lgbtq community always says "being proud of your own sexuality doesn't mean you're better and others are worse. so why do you automatically say that same statement about white pride? that's double standarted.

@genericname85 because the people who are most well known for their white pride also wear white hoods and lynch people.

So in your mind recieving a negative reaction to going out of your way to deliberately antagonise a marginalised group of people is the same as being murdered because of the colour of your skin? Hm ok nice victim complex bro

@KimmyKimchi so in your mind it is ok to inflict bodily harm on someone for having an opinion you don't agree with?

@KimmyKimchi but it is not ok to inflict bodily harm on someone for having a different race. in my mind these things are both wrong and you have a big double standard issue to work out.

@KimmyKimchi the argument you're trying to make insinuating that "one is worse than the other" doesn't matter. wrong is wrong. comparing an evil thing to a greater evil doesn't make that evil thing good. and even trying that is very dumb.

@KimmyKimchi by the way: insulting people who actually fall victim to violence by saying "they have a victim complex" is borderline criminal.

    The historical context.

It still kind of makes sense or is 'ok' atm but presumably 'we' (people) wouldn't still want to be doing this in for arguments sake 200 years time.

fascism is the political idea that the wellbeing of an imaginary political group of people trumps the wellbeing of the individual. it is not at all contingent to any historical context. you can see fascism in a historical context but it never changed it meaning so why would it matter?

I don't entirely agree with your definition of fascism but i don't want to get bogged down in the semantics, I think it is sufficient to say that any kind of oppression is undesirable.

Lets simplify again by saying that you are not talking about lesbians, gays, bisexuals or queers here, this is specifically and exclusively about transexuals and even more specifically this is about pronouns and the associated issues.

I am an advocate of anarchism and try to use its principles to guide my thinking and it seems to me that the surrounds the idea that 'your freedom ends where mine begins' or vice versa.

Which group / state or individual you perceive as being oppressed or oppessor depends on which side of the argument you choose to take up, if you take a side.

If you say, and i think this is the only complaint that you actually have, that A must call B female because B self identifies as female this is oppressive to A but it should be obvious to someone talking about fascism that the state dictating to the individual that it knows better what the content of the individuals mind is also oppressive.

With our current level of technology we cannot know what is happening inside the mind of a trans person and therefore understand what they are experiencing and or make anything like an objective judgement about whether that person is INSIDE THEIR MIND male or female. We can't even describe what the fuck that even means.

What we can say for certain is that the state and its claimed monopoly on violence does not get to dictate the content of an individuals mind.

So as far as interactions between an individual and the state are concerned if an individual decides they are male or female then they are, the individuals well being trumps the machinery of the state.

Where the state in various places around the world has gone wrong though is in legislating that everyone must comply with this because the interaction now is between one individual and another individual and there is no way to slice up this cake where everyone wins, one side or another is being harmed regardless of what you choose.

The state therefore must not dictate what anyone should choose.

The individual must be free to choose to respect the choices being made by others or not as they please.

There are many different niche use cases in this subject that we are all trying to work out where the right and wrong is and that is going to take some time.
