What’s the cause behind the fatherlessness crisis in the US?

It's complex, but in a nutshell, it's because a lot of people who shouldn't be parents are having kids. Concurrent to that, you have a lot of people who shouldn't be parents due to financial instability, something that may not entirely be their fault.
