I don't think parents should influence like push their kid to do something. But it's not influence just to tell the kid about something. Like telling ur kid about religion isn't influencing them unless u say every other religion is wrong and this one is right & if u don't follow it u are in trouble. As far as this particular case, sure it could be influence, but so could it be if the kid was living as cis. Many kids are influenced to live as cis especially at very young ages, regardless of whether they're actually cis or not. I know in my experience, there hasn't been ANY point in my life where I wouldn't have wanted to transition, if I'd known it was an option and that I wouldn't be punished for doing it. But i was never in that situation until I was an adult and moved out on my own.

Bias? Well, we all have biases, but mine are probably not what you think. I'm an atheist who was raise in a religious family. When I got old enough to think for myself (like 14 or 15 I think), I stopped going to church, and have identified as an atheist since about 19 I think. No harm done, no lasting effects.
I have personally known too many people my age or younger who have irreversably fucked up their lives through gender ideology stuff that I firmly believe kids should all be discouraged from acting on those inclinations until they are mature enough to understand the implications for the rest of tehir lives. So yeah, that's my bias.

Religion generally does more good than bad in most childen's lives, so it makes sense for religious parents to take their kids to church. But influencing a child to make gender related decisions that will affect them the rest of their lives before their brains are even close to full development is cruel. That's all I'm saying.
