And if we are to talk about potential, then you are outright admitting that a zygote is not a living being but simply has the potential to become one at some point. The same can be said of sperm and pretty much anything. If I eat some salt it has the potential to become part of my biology and part of a "complete organism" so that argument would even work on inorganic matter.
