Do you believe that there's a gay gene? If not, what's the cause?

Scientists have looked for the gene for decades and are yet to find one.

Some believe it's all environmental factors or hormonal issues (gay frogs) related to birth control, plastics and other factors in the water supply etc.

There's more gay people as a proportion of the population than there's ever been. Coincidence?

You get gay animals. And since animals don't get influenced by pride marches it's a logical assumption that there's a biological reason behind homosexuality.

That wasn't the question... you just made a statement. I was asking if you believe there is such a thing as a gay gene (therefore it is genetic) and if you think we will find it. If not, what's the cause

Not what i asked, read the question. Obviously considering 98%of the population is straight. Being 2% means it's an abnormality. You wouldn't say 100% of people are born with 2 arms either.
