There are people who are  born  gay (and a small percent of these are born close to the dividing line, and could essentially go either way). There are also people who  become  gay, nearly always as a result of early childhood trauma (studies indicate that this can happen with trauma before the age of 6 - after this age, sexual orientation is "locked in" and trauma almost never affects it). This isn't speculation - this has been extensively studied over at least the last 40 years, and continued study continues to reinforce this as being true. Developmental psychology has got this quite well figured out.

When it comes to the nature versus nature argument for gays... I don't know man... It seems natural to them to just want dick. Unless they are born intersex - most discover they're gay through environment - either trauma or proximity to queerness.

In the church - homosexuality was preached about daily. Every service would end about homosexuality being a sin. I didn't know what it was but they also said fornication was bad too.

I always wanted a lesbian experience but never found one I was attracted to. But the action of sex is what I wanted to discover. Most of my friends from hs are bisexual bc they experimented in college. I didn't have the chance to since I was with a man.

Yeah. Sometimes people know who they like early in life and others it might take time. I knew I liked boys at a young age but then when I got to be a teen I learned that I also liked other girls. As well as learning it was normal and had a name for it. It can go both ways too.

Not all of them, some just try wild things and end up remaining that way, majority are molested by a family member or family friend. Some are just possessed by that spirit because they are gifted but the devil wants them for himself instead of doing God's work.

Women can also mess up their child while in the womb, by wishing for a girl and it's a boy, or wishing for a boy and it's a girl. Your unborn child can feel all those emotions and feelings, I think that plays a big role in boys 2 men that come out acting as such.💪🏾💯😇🙏🏾

no one chooses to be heterosexual or queer, a person is naturally born that way. Society gets too fixated on gender binary, so it’s still a challenge for some to understand, be educated, or accept that not everyone is born heterosexual… 🙄Thus, it’s harder for queers to come out to accept themselves or disclose their sexual orientation because of this.

I can’t say that I’m gay so my opinion is honestly irrelevant to what is actually happening.
Never in my life did I choose to be sexually attracted to women. It just happened. I remember thinking that I didn’t like girls because of cooties… Then one blonde hair blue eyed girl changed that. Ever since I’ve always been attracted to women. Would I say that I’m both to be this way? Sure. Would I understand that sexuality is a dynamic concept? Absolutely.

A baby does not to think about been gay or been straight it's not there yet so saying we born that way is just wrong.
We are born with the biological function, but the rest kicks in later after many stages of development so clearly it happens later not when born.

Most certainly.
This is likely due to a congenital condition known as genetic chimerism which involves the zygotes of two opposite-sex twins merging into a single zygote with two sets of DNA. When the DNA involving brain development comes from one of the zygotes, but the DNA for genitalia comes from the other (opposite sex) zygote, you'll have a mismatch leading to LGBTQetc issues.

Personally I think it's more on the nurture side of the spectrum which wires a person that way. We have mapped the human genome and have not found a "gay" gene (not to say that means there isn't one near nessesarially). Im not saying I think it's a choice, just that the way we are all wired is a result of the sum of our life experiences.

I believe the topic is rather more complicated than you're presenting it as...

It isn't primarily genetic for one thing. The selective pressure it provides against itself is wholly inconsistent with its commonality. That said, it could be a consequence of hormonal balance levels during gestation... in which case it still qualifies as "born gay". Still, most behavioural outcomes have multiple causes... so I doubt it is exclusively a hormonal thing.

I think what you mean is, is being gay genetic? Arguably, your genetic makeup can be affected by traumatic childhood events. I say this because I've known gay people who were basically conditioned to be gay as children by their abusers.

Some. Most aren't, but some are. My cousin (female) made a conscious decision when she was 17 because men her age were trash. My best friend (male) who is super handsome, smart, and talented was born gay. He said "with all I've been blessed with why would I be gay, if I wasn't gay?" I believe hormones and genetics play a part if some homo sapiens are homosexuals and born that way. Environment and trauma also plays a part. Or maybe people like me, have done it out of pure curiosity. I became curious late in high-school, and had my first and only experience in college. I realized the opposite gender was for me, not that it was bad at all being with her. And I'll say, I still like kissing girls, and no man has ever ate my pussy better than my friend in college!
