I liked it mostly ONLy because Ken parts were actually funny.

Otherwise, I feel it's pathetic. For me it sounded like they killed barbie because people in real life had their feelings hurt. Normal barbie doesn't exist anymore because people were offended that nobody in real life looks like barbie, well that is ridiculous of course we don't because that's a doll.

Just like people were offended by mannequins because they were thin so now you have fat mannequins taking over

Just like people cried about Victoria secret having thin models for the clothes because it made people offended, not Victoria secret is full of fat people.

So basically they kill barbie because it hurt people's feelings. she is out of barbie land because girls don't want a doll that looks better than them. For me that's ridiculous. 🤯

No, but I don't necessarily love how they handled the issue of gender equality in favor of a few jokes. It's like 50% interesting social commentary, and 50% "are we sure we thought this all the way through".

It did have most intersectional talking points from the past five or so years, but I thought it was more expressing Gerwig’s critique of activist zoomer feminists from the perspective of a prior wave. I also think the film in some ways expressed the perspective of a childless woman approaching 40 who made sacrifices for a career. The movie can’t seem to get around to making a point with clairty without being hampered by the typical contradictions and tension release devices common in films produced by millennials.

I haven't seen it but considering this is Hollywood and that women are now using it as a litmus test on their boyfriends and husbands as to whether or not their relationship should continue, I would say yes.

I just heard a review on it so based on that review yes.  Nevertheless, all Hollywood movies and shows are propaganda by design. The industry hardly produces anything that's wholesome in nature.
