There is obviously an element of politics in play with Trump's indictments. I'm not saying whether he should or should not be charged for his involvement in the 2020 election and the January 6th incident at the Capitol.

One thing I've always wondered though. The Constitution prevents the President from being charged with a crime while he's President... only an impeachment can deal with that. yet, Trump was the sitting President during the 2020 election and January 6. Can he legally be charged for that?

If you look at the Trump indictment side by side with the legal difficulties of the Biden Crime Family they are always announced the day after some bad news for the Bidens comes out.
