I don’t get it?
1.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It could be many reasons,
No male figue in his life as a role model,
So no that could discipline and respect, being inforced. I have friends in bike clubs I have friends that were raised this way I was raised this way until I was 16 and moved out.
But most these guys are women haters because the the way that their mother raised him the way that their mother had men in and out of their life
Every week a new boyfriend and trying to discipline. And probably was a bad role model anyway it's just lack of life really of good moral values and ethics
I can see where a single mother is struggling doesn't put time and effort into the child it also depends on who she is.
You can blame the mother you can blame the father but you got to blame the kid too when I was 16 years old I moved out the first night that I was out my brain started clicking and I realized I didn't know a freaking thing and at the same time I knew everything because I had to learn it fast
No matter what I was doing I was questioning myself
We all know wrong from right and it's called a choice
I know many guys that are exactly like your question says and they have said to me I wish when I was young I didn't do this or do that
And we're good enough friends I can just look at them and start laughing and I say b******* because you're still doing it you still treat people the same way you still have anger and hate and you really could give a care less
I don't care who you are in this world today right now this moment you are exactly who you want to be that's the truth because if it wasn't you would be changing it you would be doing something else you would be that person that you want to be00 Reply

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yBecause women try to raise boys according to what their idea of a man is. That’s like a man trying to raise a girl to be what a “real” woman is. Also it isn’t that all men are just deadbeat dads as someone pointed out, some of these women are deadbeat moms. I know a few men who can’t even see their kids because the mother won’t let them. Because she’s mad about whatever so she’s going to “punish” him by not letting him see his son when she’s really damaging the son. After a while kids aren’t scared of mom, especially the boys. Sure when I was younger my brothers and I would get a whooping if we messed up. After a while we knew it was just a butt whooping by mom, no big deal. We never felt that way w our dad. Plus, if a boy doesn’t have a manly figure in his life he doesn’t know how he’s supposed to act, what he’s supposed to do. Mother maybe has different men coming in and out of the house, more instability emotionally as women tend to be more emotional. Seems as though a lot of women these days are on psych meds or depression meds. Teaching their sons to be feminine. Supposedly kids in a single parent home do better being raised by a single father than a single mother.

+1 yBecause statistically single mothers are high school dropouts on welfare often with drug or alcohol addiction issues and usually do NOT hang around "good" individuals.
You put a child - any child - in such a situation and they are gonna be screwed up.
Boys turn to violence because they:
a) had bad role models as men / or mum herself / growing up in a BAD household
b) they were bullied & abused (inability to manage emotions properly) or
c) repressed anger - essentially they couldn't change their childhood so won't let themselves be victims in adulthood (and sadly often make themselves victims).Girls can turn violent but usually become very promicious:
a) bad role model (in mom) and having a new man in the house each month
b) sexual abuse by "mom's friend" - sexually abused girls are quite prone to becoming promicious
c) they turn to drugs & violence themselves because they grew up around it
.There are exceptions - husband's death, divorce - but when you consider websites like Spotlight on Poverty which defines a lot of related stats to poverty.
And high teen birth rate goes hand in hand with high single parent households in numerous states on that above website... it doesn't take a genius to realize 2 + 2 = 4.

Most broken families will have parents acting like children one way or another. Those toxic dynamics don't end with well rounded children.00 Reply

+1 yBecause we have nobody to talk to. Male friends are replaceable and temporary, so you cannot trust or rely on them. Mothers are females and even the best mothers in the world (literally) cannot help their sons out because sons are males and only another male knows how to help another male. That is a Very basic answer. No leader in a house, no rock to lay on when you want to and just open your heart to.

+1 yI was raised by single mom from age of 11 because my dad past away I've never got in to crime and don't suffer with an addiction problem. Loads people are raised by single parents and are perfectly fine. Loads people come from 2 parents homes get in to crime or suffer with addiction. Company you keep is important.

When boys raised by single moms hit puberty, they realize theyre stronger than their mother who was up until that point, the figure of authority.
Hard to stop bad behaviour if you can't use the potential threat of physical force to impose your authority.

@Apple1996 - Where did I say education? I said licensing. Entirely different. Do you need a Masters to drive a car where you live?
The idea is simple - if someone can't look after a dog or a cat or a pet rock for a year then they can't have children... it's that simple.
Ps. Yeah you can easily predict how someone will grow up. If they came from a fucked up household statistically they'll have a fucked up household as adults. - +1 y
@WiccanLady2023 so this license is gonna be given without a test? Lol then anyone could easily get it.
I meant predict the type of parent a person will be. And also that too kids can all be raised the same way and turn out different. It's easy to see that with big families. Most aren't the same person - +1 y
@Apple1996 - what part of "if someone can't look after a dog or a cat or a pet rock for a year then they can't have children" wasn't clear?
That IS the test. If you can't look after an animal which is in many ways far, far simplier than child care then you are NOT licensed & thus NO children.
ROFL. Yes you're not a clone of your siblings but even the LARGEST families has the SAME HABITS which are LEARNT when you ARE A CHILD.
