Ok, time for the update and a key point!

The draft, conscription or however you want to refer to it? That is slavery and unconstitutional. Our government is considering enslaving us men even in my age group for the sake of going to Ukraine.

Interesting to see some people wanting to bring back conscription. It seems the poor white boys who made up most of the actual fighting force of the military (as opposed to the logistics and desk jobs) have figured out it makes no sense to die or be crippled for an anti-white elite’s (clear them out!) overseas grift operations. Depends on what you mean by involuntary servitude. There can be cases where you enter into a voluntary contract for future involuntary servitude - military service for example.

You can also be incarcerated through a legal process. That process may be wrong or corrupt, but I think it is different from slavery.

A more difficult question is where the servitude is involuntary in the sense that you need money to live, and it is the only option available to you for money.

It's literally servitude that is involuntary. That can include things like the draft or work detail in prison.

The draft is the interesting one. In a way its similar to taxes. As a citizen or even just a resident of a country you gain the advantage of things like law enforcement, courts... and defense. There is no practical way you can choose not to use those things. So is it fair to require you to support them though jury duty, or the draft?

I'm very much opposed to a draft (and jury duty) for a variety of reasons, but I'm not sure its really slavery. I consider it an interesting question and don't yet have a firm opinion either way

Involuntary doesn't mean automatically for free. Of course forced to fight as conscript or doing jobs without payment are nazi methods and comparable with slavery but it seem when democratic regimes do it, it's justified.

Women dont have to put themselves on the draft but yet have the right to vote and do whatever they want. Anyway no one should be put on the draft. Why be conscripted to fight and die for a country that doesn't care about you and just wants you dead

Indentured servitude was specifically to pay a debt back. It's considered slavery today by most people.

Definitions are fun. But reality of history is my go to. Slaves from 1600 Americas to 1940s German camps were legally nonexistent. If anything a number or possession.
