Do you seriously believe that loneliness is gender specific?

I keep seeing talk about a supposed “male loneliness epidemic” but it’s stupid because it’s just a loneliness epidemic. Men and women are lonely. Men aren’t entitled to romantic (or platonic) relationships anymore than women are, companionship is just something humans will desire. There are so so many lonely women out there (all it takes is one tik tok search to see) but apparently female loneliness is invalidated because we’re seen as sexual objects so since someone would always want to f**k us we can’t “truly” be lonely. I hate this line of thinking.

No one said that female loneliness doesn't exist. The problem is that male loneliness started spiking since the turn of the 21st century. Not just in the relationship department but friends too.

If you grew up thinking that you are evil, stupid and are a part of everything that is wrong with the world becuase you are of a certain sex because the government, the media and many people you know have told you that they believe that you are engaging in a worldwide conspiracy to opress the sex opposite of you because your genitalia matches them, I bet you'd feel the same way.

If you as an adult experienced watching marriages fall apart all around you not only because the laws and police practices are written in such a way to avoid holding their abusive partners responsible much as possible, but engage in abuse on their behalf? What if you experienced this yourself? Would you want to marry after that?

Would you want to be around the opposite sex of you knew that they can ruin your life at the point of a finger, all with little to no punishment? Johnny Depp has been suffering through this nightmare since 2016 and it is far from over because the media still refuses to believe that he was the victim and not the abuser despite his televised court case making it obvious Amber Heard was the aggressor.

Part of the reason why these men are lonely is because they want to love, trust and protect women but the law punishes them for doing it, or even associating with women in any way.

I am sure you have heard of the times where bad things were happening to women in public spaces and no one helped. Why? Look no further than Daniel Penny who took down some homeless psycho because he was attacking and threatening women, he wasn't even trying to kill the guy but died anyway and now Penny is on trial for murder or something along those lines.

After that, how it not obvious that men are finding that something is wrong here?

I don’t think it’s gender specific, but I do think there’s more lonely men than there are women. I say this because women, regardless of how fugly they look can always meet a man for a relationship. They just choose not too because many of them feel as though they deserve men on the top, all pursuing that cute dude who maybe makes a lot of money, popular, etc. On the other hand a dude who’s fugly as hell, no matter what is more than likely never going to get a girl even if he pursues a girl who isn’t all that because she thinks she’s too good for him, that he’s ugly.

It isn't that female loneliness is invalidated. It's that females want male loneliness to be more focused on to fuel their attacks on men by calling them incels, etc. Women don't want their loneliness to be as focused on because they see it as weakness, so they hope men's will be magnified instead and hope that it appears worse than women's loneliness.

How is it an attack to be labelled an incel (if that is truly what you are)? And you’re obviously free to have your opinion but I have never seen loneliness as any form of weakness in anybody and I don’t know anybody else who thinks like that

It's an attack to call some guy an incel simply because he says something you may not like or agree with. Which is what tons of women are doing. So they think that ignoring men will make them irrelevant, or calling them an incel because of their own personal experiences or points of view will invalidate them. That's not how life works.

I'm not saying that actually being lonely makes a person weak. I'm saying that women VIEW loneliness in being single as weakness. And because of it, they try to put the focus on "all the lonely males" out there to distract from the loneliness that so many single women are having. They don't want their own gender to seem weak or pathetic for being single and lonely, so they want men to have that image instead.

The difference is that men focus on it in the hopes that people will give them sympathy like they do with women. The women focus on it as a malicious way of trying to make men appear pathetic and only driven by sex.

I see your point and just want to point out that since social media/dating apps the top 10% of males are getting around 70% of the interaction from females. That leaves 90% of males with little to no Contact in that regard.
