Are single mothers typically trashy?

Trashy as in nasty, dirty, sluts, trailer trash? Maybe. Now if you’re talking about being bad mothers. Yes, but no. There are a lot of single mothers out there trying to do the best they can w good intentions. But at the same time statistics show that kids tend to do worse w single moms as opposed to single fathers. Maybe because w women there’s a lot of emotions involved, breaking down, crying, depression, etc. Sure men have that as well. A male is more likely to end up in prison being raised by the mother. Girls tend to have father issues. I’m not saying this to put women down but that’s just the outcome of a lot of single mothers raising kids. Sure you can blame the father cause he left them. I know a lot of women who are single mothers who work hard but they’re struggling. Kids, especially the sons don’t have that level of respect for their mom as they do their father. As a boy I remember growing up, sure we were scared when we did wrong because my mom would spank us. After sometime it was just ok mom’s just going to spank us nothing else, big deal. W my dad, that was never the case, we always feared, respected him. I think too when a girl gets of a certain age the mother and daughter may argue because there’s that animosity between women that a lot of women just seem to have.

If you are asking about younger single mothers who have children at home, when I was dating in that age range, the answer was "no." They had problems, but I wouldn't call them "trashy."

Typically. Some of them are naive and just choose a bad guy and get knocked up. But they usually learn from it and choose a better guy the second time around. But this is not the norm most single moms are single because they're simply low quality women. There is no fixing them. This is generally why guys avoid them except for sex.

It depends on the woman. Same for any person. I’m with a single mother who is wonderful.

They are worse in the UK thanks to our over generous benefit system and social housing and yes they are and should be avoided by men at all costs.

I don't think trashy is the right word. That said, single mothers are more likely to be found at lower income levels and to have problems.

Not necessarilly. A woman could have been widowed or dicorced for justified reasons. But that is not the case with most single mothers. Most end up that way due to poor life choices.
