I think that televising the trial will let everyone see the evidence or lack of evidence. This should take some of the wind out of conspiracy theories on all sides.

Personally, I don't care because I'm not going to watch. But legally speaking, yes, I agree. Because if you're going to charge him, then you can make the trial viewable to the American people. If you keep it behind closed doors, it lends credence that it's a sham trial.
