Is it safe for a girl to walk alone at night?

Of course, it all depends where you live, but in general, yes. Where I live now, I’m more likely to be attacked by a coyote than anything happen to me.

Where I grew up, St. Louis, very unsafe. People out there don’t know how to mind their business and will literally target you just because you look too friendly. I think if a woman develops a demeanor of dont f*ck with me you won’t have any issues, and I had to learn that because of where I grew up.

It’s impossible to definitively determine if it’s generally safe or not. Like I said, it depends on where a woman lives. I’ve lived in places that were safe for me to walk, and places that weren’t. There is no general answer to this question.

I guess it all depends on where you live, doesn't it? I live in a small, and very peaceful, country town. There is no crime at all, and going out at night all alone is never an issue.

Its depends on the area. Some cities really never sleeps. They Look the same in the morning as night. I have seen that when i went to china. Women work in 7/11 night shifts which is not the norm in other countries where women just work morning shifts and an indian guy often works night shifts i have seen that in australia.

Yep but its crazy that china is more safe than australia in that regard. I wouldn't have known if i didn't travel. China is pretty crime free in big cities. Apart from taxi drivers trying to Rip off tourists with the ride price the country is really under control and people fear the police so much

My neighborhood is gated an guarded and we still have burglars that have came in the middle of the night. Even areas that seem safe aren’t as safe as you may think. I even had some weird stuff happen when I was a kid and lived in the country.

Those gates actually might be the problem there. They create blind areas and cause inability for victims to escape as well. Crime in my town increased after they placed gates. Kind of counterintuitive but I think gates are more harm then good

They just come in through the wooded area. They have to walk in so they can’t steal big things live tvs but they like to search through cars and garages and see if cash jewelry or expensive sunglasses are left in cars or garages.

Even wiser is to make sure that she doesn't need me to. I will fall to protect her and meet my obligations. I can't always be there. Life often gets in the way on many fronts. As a man, being relied on by the woman we love is important to to our self esteem but that's a recipe for failure.
