I’m sure there are a few coders on this site, and I’ve tried my hand at it. I’ve tried C, C++, Pascal, Java, Javascript, Python, Ruby, Visual basics and even Swift.

And I don’t mean to brag or anything, but I bet I’m less shitty at it than Joey. (And I’m REALLY shitty at it)

I love trying to do it, and it’s fun, but it’s just too hard. I really admire those gifted hackers like the guy on Swordfish.

And if they can't pick-up on the code, they can learn to be sous chefs. Probably thinks (I'm using the term liberally here) that a coder is one who breaks into vaults to steal state secrets.

Anyway, coding is not for everyone. Everyone is not blessed with a "logical" mind, and coding needs that plus someone who is good at finding and developing patterns.

Way back when, I did coding for a living- COBOL, FORTRAN, even BAL!! (Python writers may have to look these up in their IT History books.) I had a manager who couldn't program his way out of a bed in the morning trying to tell the coders how to code.

My grandson is all into Python at his homeschool co-op. Maybe he can quit that and become a pipe-fitter, as long as SloeJoe thinks the skills are transferable.

I don't blame AMLO. If I were in his shoes, I would release El Chapo's son, too. I've said before on this site that Joe Manchin should stop doing what's right, and just give the Dems what they want. I got a lot of hate for that, but I stand by what I said. Manchin tended to vote in favor of the Republicans on some issues, and because of that, him, his wife and kids and grandkids got death threats from the kind and gentle Democrats.
