What would you do if you found out your landlord attached a GPS tracking device to your car?

Did not happen to me mind you. But say hypothetically you're changing your tire, the tire is one that is under the back of the car, not in the trunk, and you notice a GPS tracker. When you take it to the police they are able to figure out that it belongs to your land lord.. What would you do?

I personally would pay to ship it somewhere in China.. And then seek to find another place to live.. It's illegal as hell..

Nothing legal but certainly something involving a heavy blunt instrument and broken bones. Now if he used that data or sold it or gave to someone, there's a lot of space out here here him to breathe dirt for eternity

Make a police report go to housing court file a harassment case

I woukd first see if there are specific laws preventing this in your state. If so I would likely file a complaint, while moving out. The real question is, why TF would my landlord care where I go?
